So it is based on the track. C5 is the softest and C1 is the hardest. In the strategy screen before the race it should say whether the track is C1-C3, C2-C4, or C3-C5.

@@carsonf1 it does before the race but in Practice and Quali it doesn't say which is the Wet or Intermediate.

If you choose a slower car and set it to not equal cars your overall laptime could be closer to irl. However you would probably be slower in high speed corners and not low speed corners. So it probably wouldn't be realistic.

even if you choose the slowest car in realistic performance it will still easily be atleast 2.5 - 4 seconds faster than the irl cars. the handling module is an arcade, with no similarity to irl.

@@carsonf1 slow or high speed doesnt matter. f124 and other f1 games in general is a joke when it comes to realism. hope one day they get a big ass sponsor and make a simulation game.

It is the multiplayer car but it is set to equal cars. The big leagues are still running everyone in the multiplayer car because some people think the other cars are not all equal. Envy just set the leaderboard wr of a 1:02.7.

The lower power the car the more you can jump on throttle.

@@carsonf1 Just to get this straight, this technique is used once corner entry is complete and exit is to commence. It reduces the likelihood of understeer when turning out of the corner by inducing the rear to rotate due to the sudden acceleration application.

So for tyre wear I like to take the worst tire % and divide by the number of laps after at least 5 laps. I have an approximate tyre wear for every track but some drivers have different wears. For fuel you got to set it up before the race. I do 5 laps at 0.0 fuel and see the change. Then add fuel based on change per lap. There isn't much you can do about tyre wear and fuel during a race so I don't look at it.

Look at the last slide of the vid. Fast weaving is best.

C5: 75-85 C4: 75-95 (85 aim) C3: 85-95 C2: 85-105 (95 aim) C1 : 95-115 Inter: 55-75 Wet: 55-65

@@cozmiixx Yes they can be found in the .erp game files.

If you look at the game in the strategy tire selection before a race it will tell you the compounds. So each tire has its own optimal temp range.

I would have to look at the game files again. But I i think it is under 135C.

@@carsonf1 135C is the most power or is it 100% power >135C. That means, you can run lean for a outlap qualy without achieving a certain temp.

@@CraigConlee Yeah. Anything at 135C or under is 100% power. Then as you go over 135 it is a downward slope of power output.

Imo always high pressure unless the tires are getting too cold. Usually you may have to lower the fronts maybe 1 psi at certain tracks.
