Somehow I find these rollcage videos very entertaining. I have learned a thing or two by just watching. These videos might come in handy one day if im building my own 240 for example. Its amazing to have videos with easy instructions on youtube.
You must not know what goes into making these. It takes hours and hours of footage to make a video. To add to that he's also a full time student. Be happy you get content.
+zachgoesHD to be fair i do enjoy his videos, not implying I'm unsubscribing but it gets to the point where you forget youre even subscribed. People make daily videos which range up to 20 minutes sometimes, not to be rude but these arent feature films hes creating. Hope im not coming off as rude, just giving my opinion because i feel maybe it will get noticed and acted on.
+OffBeat Garage I understand in some way but not in that it would take 1 week to make an 11 minute video, although i kind of understand what you mean in terms of gathering all the old footage that you made, as a viewer it just loses my interest to some point, but regardless, keep up the interesting content. Cheers
yo, was just wanting to let you know your one of the main reasons and inspirations for my friends and i to start a channel on youtube, we are about to hit 400 subs and were going strong, i love your build man, keep up the good content, and tire slaying!!!
you have some of the dopest content even if its educational, like you're one of the few people i can watch videos like this and not get bored out of mind mind. also check out the z31 i have an 87 im building and i kinda like to think of it as the 240 and 180's origins.
I just bought that shirt at FD Texas yesterday at the whatmonstersdo tent! but the vet nice girl running the tent, who says you are as cool in person as on these videos btw, wouldn't let me get the ledrift discount lol but we did talk about you and it was pretty cool talking to someone who has actually knows and hearing them say you are a really cool dude and not just some ass hat who acts cool on camera and not in person like some other people lol
Sweet dude! Awesome to hear haha it's usually one of two girls that runs the booth and both of them are fun to be around. And I never thought I was an ass hat so glad to hear it confirmed :P haha hopefully I'll be able to meet you one day :)
been subscribed since the time you first picked up the OG LDC lol when you had the mesh wheels you fixed and painted lol come along way from that!!! think you had like 6k subs then.. keep growing bro! and nice build! i have an s13 with a silvia front which im gonna soon be drifting at irwindale/grange/adams and other tracks! hope to tandem together lol ps want to build my cage ?(x i like your perfectionist mentality.
pretty nice bro, i have a question for you Adel, this car is your only car? i want to build a drift car but i think im gonna destroy everything and will be my only car!
Why im always thinking, if im watching a video from you, that you doint Like your passengers ? I cannot explain me :D What means the Japan text on you shirt ?
Haha well it's more of just common sense. Any time this car will be driven hard or in competition I will have no passengers. So not the wisest decision to build the cage around prioritizing passengers when the likelihood of them being in a roll over is so slim. I believe it says Kind of Drift of something along those lines haha
love the vids! been a sub for too fucking long haha, u've really grown nearly at 100k subs. anyway! will you be building ur engine? or swapping it out or keeping it till it blows?
Aren't you worried about adding a shit ton of weight with this highly complex cage ? Or are you going to go all out like that on this engine too ? I like the cage build videos though. I've learnt so much about roll cages lol
I'm not worried. Safety is more important to me than weight. This design also only consisted of about 7 feet of tubing. Each foot of tubing weighs 1.426 lbs so 9.982 pounds added to the car for much more strength, rigidity and safety. That's something that I can live with haha. And yes the engine and turbo build will be just as detailed. Glad to hear it!
I think the weight doesnt matter if you want to keep yourself protected and if you want to compete you need more complex cage than only a few bars here and there.
Stock KA because the car is being rebuilt from the ground up and tossing a turbo on + building a new chassis is cause for a ton of random issues and endless trouble shooting. instead I'm dialing in the suspension and angle kit and whatever other issues this car has with this power level so that way I can easily add more power and not have to worry about the car falling apart. Reason behind everything broski
not hating on these roll cage videos but when do you think the cage is finished and the "more entertaining" videos continue? Are you doing a vid of the lights next or what?
The tubing I'm using weighs in at 1.426 lbs a foot. That rear brace consists of about 7ft of tubing which equals 9.982 pounds added, which is a great compromise for a much stronger and rigid cage. Also 100 kg = 220.462 lbs. This cage uses roughly around 80 ft of tubing which means ~114 lbs added for an entire 8 point cage with additional supports. Get your facts straight lol
Honestly, his weld aren't the best, I can weld better. his fabrication skills and knowledge are what's impressive. he did and amazing job on the roll cage.
+mayo7679 Triangle doesn't reinforce the corners and I don't have a double diagonal for the main hoop and so I wanted a tube to attach directly above the passengers head. For protection rather than the triangle which just attaches to the center still leaving the passengers head without any support
enough of the roll cage seriously, personally I get it,but a 10 min vids over roll cage measurment isnt as entertaining after 5 videos of this kind.when are going to work on the engine bay?
Not supposed to be entertaining lol, supposed to show people how to build a cage smh. 3 videos were put out before this not regarding roll cage and that's for entertainment purposes. I'm pretty sure you can skip the cage videos if you don't want to watch them lol but they have to get shown eventually.
I agree with Adel, even though I do find this entertaining because it's educational. I have yet to see a detailed video series (or single video) covering a roll cage build from start to finish. Also, I haven't seen one that includes the necessary safety information and design tips that this series does so make the videos as long as needed! Thanks again for the series, I know it probably makes the build process a few times slower to film at this quality.
***** not being rude just saying my opinion i get hyped up to see you posted a new video just to see its another rollcage video, i get it youve gotta show it for educationnal purpose. But its no rocket science 1 video of an hour covering the whole rollcage build would have done it.
It's hard to care about these vids anymore now that your car is basically done, I get that it's somewhat educational, but if you want to make interesting content I think you should just hurry up and get up to date with the car already
Somehow I find these rollcage videos very entertaining. I have learned a thing or two by just watching. These videos might come in handy one day if im building my own 240 for example. Its amazing to have videos with easy instructions on youtube.
just binge watched this whole series in 1 afternoon, I feel enlightened.
Woo a vid, it's one of the few vids which keep me entertained until the new project binky is out
i thought i was the only one..
I love watching your videos, they're amazing. Personally I love how in depth they are. Defiantly the best diy drift videos on youtube! Keep it up man!
you got some skills bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dam off beat, best build I've seen on UA-cam so far, keep up the good work bro
Slackin harddd on the videos

+Arian Sarvi Those people with daily videos of up to 20 minutes do nowhere near the level of work I do that's the difference lol
+OffBeat Garage I understand in some way but not in that it would take 1 week to make an 11 minute video, although i kind of understand what you mean in terms of gathering all the old footage that you made, as a viewer it just loses my interest to some point, but regardless, keep up the interesting content. Why dont you follow him on snapchat to see the amount of work he does. Not just reviewing pieces for a fucking xbox
yo, was just wanting to let you know your one of the main reasons and inspirations for my friends and i to start a channel on youtube, we are about to hit 400 subs and were going strong, i love your build man, keep up the good content, and tire slaying!!!

been subscribed since the time you first picked up the OG LDC lol when you had the mesh wheels you fixed and painted lol come along way from that!!! think you had like 6k subs then.. keep growing bro! and nice build! i have an s13 with a silvia front which im gonna soon be drifting at irwindale/grange/adams and other tracks! hope to tandem together lol

what did we learn today " passengers are not important" hahaha
Snap chat gang 🤘🏽
pretty nice bro, i have a question for you Adel, this car is your only car? i want to build a drift car but i think im gonna destroy everything and will be my only car!

***** I know, i just was joking ;) How mutch Episodes from Building did you still have to upload / edit ?
A lot haha
what are you going to do for a career? where did you learn to weld?
Mechanical Engineer. Taught myself
Moral of the video driver is always important 😂💀
can we see some engine bay stuff ?!?!
Snap squah
yaaas
ayyyy..I was the 300 like....and 0 dislikes

Oh okay i thought it'd be much heavier.
Nice, keeping the KA right ?
Yep KA-T
Finally somebody knows swapping a KA for an SR is not necessarily a good idea.
" buenos notches" :p
Is there a chance I'd be able to drive LDCII?
No
why you gotta crush my dreams
is that a stock ka24de? cause he said FD, but it all seems like looks?
Stock KA because the car is being rebuilt from the ground up and tossing a turbo on + building a new chassis is cause for a ton of random issues and endless trouble shooting. instead I'm dialing in the suspension and angle kit and whatever other issues this car has with this power level so that way I can easily add more power and not have to worry about the car falling apart. Reason behind everything broski
+OffBeat Garage oh cool, good shit homie. hope you end up pushing some crazy power one day
Also, every time he references FD, he's just talking about rules, because most drift clubs/events base their rules off FD.
+MEno Gusta Bingo :)
***** I just got my 240 running and I got so hyped I rewatched all your old stuff haha.
what's the purpose of a roll cage doesn't it make the car heavier?
Safety and to pass tech at events
Fuck yes
not hating on these roll cage videos but when do you think the cage is finished and the "more entertaining" videos continue? Are you doing a vid of the lights next or what?
what kind of welder do you use?
Longevity MigWeld 140
waht welding machine are u using
Longevity MigWeld 140
bring back old introooooooooooo
cant w8 to see purple cage
why didnt you notch the pipes and then lock them together and weld..
Not quite sure what you mean by that
like notch the middle of each tuve for the X to avoid splitting a pipe...
Oh so basically put a hole in the center of a straight tube so the other one can slide through it?
GJ u made like a 100KG roll cage
its really nice , but heavy
The tubing I'm using weighs in at 1.426 lbs a foot. That rear brace consists of about 7ft of tubing which equals 9.982 pounds added, which is a great compromise for a much stronger and rigid cage. Also 100 kg = 220.462 lbs. This cage uses roughly around 80 ft of tubing which means ~114 lbs added for an entire 8 point cage with additional supports. Get your facts straight lol
Thats pretty good , but still Is almost as heavy as i am lol
Every roll cage is going to be that heavy lol. A necessary evil.
Its Just trolling you a little
where is the next episode
Here nowww
i wish i could weld like you 😂😢
its all about training ;)
Honestly, his weld aren't the best, I can weld better. his fabrication skills and knowledge are what's impressive. he did and amazing job on the roll cage.
very true
I dont get it the triangle sounded like the best option like by far ...
+mayo7679 Triangle doesn't reinforce the corners and I don't have a double diagonal for the main hoop and so I wanted a tube to attach directly above the passengers head. For protection rather than the triangle which just attaches to the center still leaving the passengers head without any support
i guess that is a valid point but wouldn't the structure be more equally stiff
Equally stiff yes if that's your concern. But not equally safe for the passenger.
enough of the roll cage seriously, personally I get it,but a 10 min vids over roll cage measurment isnt as entertaining after 5 videos of this kind.when are going to work on the engine bay?

lol k.
desertman123 No,I'm not what is your point? can you elaborate or youre too stupid to do so.Even if i was paying, what would it change?
these cage videos are really getting boring
It's not supposed to be Intreating it's informational as fuck! U want comedy go watch some formuladerp
It's hard to care about these vids anymore now that your car is basically done, I get that it's somewhat educational, but if you want to make interesting content I think you should just hurry up and get up to date with the car already
