I recently moved to Nanaimo and am happy to find your useful channel. honestly, everything here is okay except for something I couldn't find any friends yet here in Nanaimo, back to the mainland I had so many friends and it make me a little bit sad
I have found that it's been easier making friends in Nanaimo than in Vancouver but I'm not sure why exactly! I suggest volunteering and going to local events. People here are really nice!

Love this topic! Nanaimo is closer to Vancouver by boat too. With that new ferry service to DT Vancouver, Nanaimo is the islands best connection point to the lower mainland. Would be great to see more Nanaimo vs. videos.. Nanaimo vs. Courtenay for example. 🙏
