Once you start exploring OOB you discover some of the most serene landscapes that have ever been in a video game. It's a shame how much of this stuff most people don't get to see.
Oh crap. This is much more entertaining to watch than all of them veteran D2 players. I want to watch Brad as he gets better at this game. Nice content brother.
Came over from Aztecross reviewing your first Destiny video and have enjoyed every Destiny video since. You doing Grasps, you finishing Zero Hour, it reminds me of what sucked me into this game in the first place and I’ve only been playing about a year now. Great videos man!
It's so damn refreshing to see someone new play this game and enjoy it and not bitch about every minor thing. Looking forward to more Destiny content, Bradley.
Love watching new players discover the greatness that Destiny can offer for the first time! A gripe I have however, is when new players get 'carried' by people trying to show them new activities. I feel that they often think they're helping by removing some of the challenge so you don't get frustrated by deaths or confused by puzzles, the sentiment is understandable but that kind of help can and absolutely WILL sap the fun out of the game much much quicker and leave you aimless with no goals to conquer. I know it's hard to find a group with the same experience as yourself this late in the games life cycle but I'd at least recommend recruiting teams willing to take a backseat and let you 'figure it out' As jaded as I am with this game after 10years it has been refreshing watching your videos man, hope the fun stays fun :>
Yeah I was really disappointed that he played with people who just showed him the way. There are plenty of other new lights out there. I wonder if for future content he can find people like him so he can enjoy the full experience.
@@mrsmi1ey Hell he just needed some vets who would stand next to him and let him lead the way. If the new guy gets frustrated then you point the way. If not you let them run the show. I was kind of irritated when I saw the final fight was already started because he got stuck on the puzzle room.
This series so far has been fun to watch, honestly as someone who's a D1 beta player it's refreshing to see a new players take on things, especially one so fun to watch as yourself, keep it comin!, can't wait to see you tackle other dungeons or raids
At 8:20, that was good of them telling Brad to hide in that cubby-hole while they activated the switches. It takes a bit of time and some luck to get past TR3VR without dying.
Dude, thank you so much for making these videos. It reminds me of how much I love Destiny and watching you experience this stuff for the first time is awesome. Keep at it Guardian!
the best destiny 2 channel on the planet right now. this guy is about to become very well known and make some moneyyyyyyyy so entertaining and hilarious thanks brad!! good for you man!!
Some of the fun was taken out of thi one because dude pretty much carried you through everything that makes Zero Hour fun, especially the Trevor maze. I was so looking forward to you figure that out.
Careful. I got called out for being a hater for saying pretty much the same thing. I've no problem with a carry, really, and love that he's enjoying himself, but to then act like he's conquered Everest as he climbs out of his Sherpa's backpack is cringe.
@@DamnTheManInc I'm fine with how he was acting cuz I think he was mostly joking. I mean, he's doing this live and has to still be entertaining. I'm sure he is aware that he was carried. I'm mostly just sad I didn't get to see him stumble over himself trying to figure out anything, especially the Trevor maze.
Just a tip for the warlock jump! Hit the second jump instantly after your first. You get more momentum and it makes the jump waaaaay better. Always double tap, don’t wait between jumps with the warlock
I play D2 regularly but watching Brad play is so refreshing watch you enjoy makes me enjoy Destiny even more every nightfall, or any other mission is more enjoyable now after watching you play
Love watching people run these for the first time. W on strafe glide. Beat final shape asap so you can get the prismatic subclass and stomp ass. Hell, I’ll run through it with you if you need a guardian. Also, double primary, bro? We gotta get you an area denial frame grenade launcher, or a Witherhoard. Eyes up.
That dude who kept shooting you in the boss fight is a g. He’s using a healing frame auto rifle, which has a bar of charge that if you hip fire at teammates, will use the charges to heal them. He kept you alive alot.
As a Warlock main let me give you a jumping tip. See you keep jumping at level like you would as a hunter and you keep trying to glide horizontally like a Titan. However, when new to warlock jumping I suggest jumping high upward first than slowly glide downward toward where ever you wanna land. Once you get the hang of it you'll be able to know how high to jump instinctively. I call warlock jumping "The Princess Peach". lol
I kind of approach warlocks and titans the same way. The only difference is I look at warlocks as Mario 2 Luigi and titans as Mario 2 Princess Peach when it comes to jumps lol.
Come over from Crosses channel, I've been playing for going on 6 years now and have more or less done everything. Your videos remind me of why I got wrapped up in this game so much to begin with. Hopefully you keep it up, it's a fresh breath for Destiny right now which it desperately needs. You and Cross would be hilarious together, hope that happens.
Really fun to see you enjoying the game :) I Highly recommend that if you can, try getting a sword with the perk "Eager Edge", It's a game changer when it comes to movement. The Halo swords ("Other Half" and "Half-truths") both can drop with this perk. Welcome to Destiny 2
You’re enthusiasm and energy when you’re playing is awesome to see. It’s something that I’ve…for lack of better word, “lost” or has been “slowly depleted” when trying to get back into this game. I just can’t do it anymore. But I am happy to see new and old players enjoying it.
Nothing brings me more joy in a video game than a new player coming into a franchise you enjoy and they themselves enjoy too however many people come and try it. Zero Hour and whisper missions back in the day were so brutal and I’m glad they brought back these missions. Great seeing you try more of destiny The Bradster!
Destiny 2014 Day one Veteran here, came over from Aztecross, great to see someone not listening to the nosie and giving it a try for himself. The majority of us are Ex Halo fans, which is why we love this game. Your channel is going to blow up if you're doing Destiny content. Watch and see.
It really is much more enjoyable watchin a new player experience the game. Reliving our own 1st experiences in a way! Truly entertaining. Idc what anyone says, it has its faults but destiny is an amazing game even today. Been playn since the very beginning i love this game. Welcome to the community my friend! So much more awesome for you to experience man if youre enjoying it now there still so much more & it just gets better. I hope you experience everything it has to offer its worth it!
Finally got a chance to watch this! Great video Brad!!!! Love the editing style and the commentary! You are truly on the road to greatness! Look forward to more content!
It is really refreshing watching good content of a new player in destiny, keep up the good work man. Also as a warlock main just a tip for jumping puzzles, Icarus dash is a godsend for solar warlocks you’ll never go back once you get used to it also burst glide is really good for more height and distance
Now go do it on legend! With half the timer 😂 also big up to the guy that saved your behind several times with no hesitation several times. That’s the real MVP.
It's been wonderful watching you play through Destiny 2 stuff, especially as a Veteran who's played 4k hours across D1 & D2. It's nice seeing a fresh perspective on stuff that myself and the D2 community take for granted. Keep up the great work. I will be here for the future D2 stuff and beyond!
Hope to see more vids as you progress through and improve. Ive been playing destiny for years and its always so funny watching new players trying to workout puzzles and stuff (but you definitely need to start taking advantage of your abilities more)
As a 10 year Destiny Veteran I’m enjoying your play through of the game. I’ve forgotten how fun it is to play this game as a new light. Keep it up brother.
Fantastic content man. I've done everything a zillion times in this game but laughed my ass off watching you fail and have a blast and a great attitude doing it! Subbed!
Glad you're enjoying the game ! I'm always happy but a bit envious when I see new players experiencing these missions for the first time. As a person with 3,000 hours in the game, Destiny will never give me the same feeling as when I first played, no matter what new content comes out. Its bittersweet but that's just the way it goes.
This has been my favorite exotic mission bungie has ever made. I run it to help people all the time and just for fun. I have those paths down packed. (TR3-VR is my little bitch)
Love watching your new light experience, it's super entertaining. You got my sub! Look forward to watching you run whisper for the first time. I also hope to see you run through some of the campaigns. Especially when you fight Calus
Idk how much time you're planning to spend on Destiny 2 but, here are couple tips and advices that will make your way easier in case you decide to stick around a while longer: *1.* Warlocks have great mobility, but you need to get used to the glide. You need to tap the jump button twice real quick in order to gain altitude, otherwise you will glide down. *2.*If you need to cover a great distance, you can always use your Dawnblade super. Recently, it got a charge rate buff among other supers. TLDR: It will recharge faster so use it more often. *3.* Play Dares of Eternity to get an Eager Edge sword. When this perk is active, perform either a light or heavy attack to yeet yourself forward. Useful when needing to get to a point in certain ammount of time, covering distances and movement in general. *4.* In that Zero Hour mission, after the this room (11:00), right away when you enter the next one, theres a switch on the left. Use it to turn off the burners. Btw, where do you got those guys from? Cuz the slashboy dude was speedrunning that shii. Which takes me to the next point. *5.* Fireteam finder: you can make a LFG (Looking for group) post in-game. Long press the button to pull out your ghost to open the destinations > head over to the friends 👥 page, it is all the way to the right > Right above your friends' list. There, you can specify which type of activity you're looking people for, what are the objectives you're trying to achieve, what kind of player you are and so on and so forth. Sadly, a great part of the Destiny 2 community don't have basic reading comprehention skills, so it's like gambling. Sometimes you find people with eyes and hands, sometimes you don't 💀 Idk what else to tell you, so let other people guide you and enjoy your journey :)
I have a tiny tip! When things are really dark and you can't see you can pull your ghost out and it's torch will work! usually... you will ofc not be able to sprint or shoot but you can move about. sometimes when the flashlights dont work for whatever reason its the only way :)
Zero Hour was rough on my first time through, but you did WAYYY better than most do with the jumping areas! I do love watching your reactions to content!
Nice Gojira intro! Love the enthusiasm in your videos. I have about 4200 hours in D2 and I can say Bungie is capable of designing some pretty epic activities.
In the Floor is Lava room, on Normal mode, there’s a map of the course you take on the back wall of one of the vault side room before you hit the fire room. The paths to take rotate on a weekly basis and are different between Normal and Expert difficulty.
Outbreak Perfected is an incredible exotic weapon too. Especially with Rewind Rounds. My favorite primary exotic in the game!!! Congratulations Bradley! 😊
Love the content bro. Imma 10 year destiny vet and i often think about the days that i was green and saw everything for the first time. The first strike (and still the best one imo) is Devils lair strike with the boss sepiks prime. The music, the action, the amounts of enemies. Just insane still to this day. My challenge to you, do the Grand Master nightfall Devils lair when it comes in rotation .
Hey dude refreshing watch, got my sub look forward to rest of your destiny endeavour. Iv played since day 1 destiny 1 so its cool too see someone who’s entertaining start there journey gl
LOL!! Love it!! New sub!! The facial expressions kill me hahaha!! Looks and sounds like me when I'm on my hunter and doing those insane jumps. Strand grapple became my friend really fast hahaha!
Man I love this, Love watching new people play and actually enjoy what the game has to offer instead of ragging on it for no reason. If you Ever want to play I got 6k hours in the last 10 years lol
As a D2 veteran certain parts were a pain to see but in a good way. Reminds me of when I started. I envy this experience you are having its awesome to see. Keep it up dude, loving the content laughed alot. Face expressions are the best
I love watching your Destiny 2 videos they are a lot of fun to ! I hope you'll play this game for a little while longer, which I find, despite its flaws, incredible ! Thanks again for your vids brother !
For the last week or so, all ive been doing is helping low lights through zero hour. Bummer we didnt run into eachother, man. Glad to see you enjoying the game. Also wanna add that your tief wasnt trolling u during that outside platform area.. he went over there to get the revive so that the other player wouldnt spawn up too. Then after the revive, they went the correct direction. The lart where he shot into that cubby area with the computer, it was to keep you alive. The death robot (whatever ppl call him) was comin that direction Last thing, farm some dares of eternity to get yourself a sword with eager edge. Makes the jumps so much easier.
As a D1 Beta Veteran I play Destiny almost daily but not really. Meaning I log in, play maybe 3 matches of crucible (PvP) or a Nightfall then I’m off to For Honor, or Bo6s recently. Here from Aztecross and wanted to say this is dope. Lol seeing you get hyped is nostalgic for me because I felt the same way a lot of times. 😂 I might actually do some raids and dungeons this week. Thanks for the reminder of horribly great this game is. Lol
I mentioned strafe Glide in the comments after watching you in grasp of avarice (Happy that you found its advantage in air movement.) Enjoying watching your journey. Keep it up brother..👍🏻
As someone thats been playing Destiny for a decade, this is a refreshing perspective. Thank you sir.
I appreciate how you always take time to mention how beautiful the sky boxes are. A lot of people don't even look at them.
Because many of us veterans are used to the game’s graphics by now. Having pretty skyboxes are the standard lol.
Bungie skyboxes are things of beauty!
For real! The first time I played Garden of Salvation, I just stared at the skybox for longer than I'd like to admit
Yep it reminded me of my rookie days

Man I love this, Love watching new people play and actually enjoy what the game has to offer instead of ragging on it for no reason. If you Ever want to play I got 6k hours in the last 10 years lol
As a D2 veteran certain parts were a pain to see but in a good way. Reminds me of when I started. I envy this experience you are having its awesome to see. Keep it up dude, loving the content laughed alot. Face expressions are the best
the teamate that was healing was great
I love watching your Destiny 2 videos they are a lot of fun to ! I hope you'll play this game for a little while longer, which I find, despite its flaws, incredible ! Thanks again for your vids brother !
Love to see new players try out Destiny 2! I have 7k hours in the game, and this makes me feel happy !
Man keep posting im loving these 😂
For the last week or so, all ive been doing is helping low lights through zero hour.
The death robot (whatever ppl call him) was comin that direction
Last thing, farm some dares of eternity to get yourself a sword with eager edge. Makes the jumps so much easier.
4:50 that CLASSIC warlock jump moment, didnt get your double jump off fast enough to get the upwards momentum. Made me laugh, love these videos
Lol
I mentioned strafe Glide in the comments after watching you in grasp of avarice
(Happy that you found its advantage in air movement.)
Enjoying watching your journey. Keep it up brother..👍🏻
I watched live and it was amazingly fun experience to see a new light run through this mission.
