- I am lucky enough to visit North Wales often and some of these dishes I have tried before. A dish that North Wales are known for are their Menai Mussels and a great place to have them is a beautiful restaurant in Criccieth called Dylans. There was also a new dish I did get to try in Wales, called Welsh Rarebit. It was interesting and I am not sure if it would be something I would order again...
