Yeah Tom ! So glad you’re back, we have missed you for sure. We knew you were okay, just VERY busy (as usual). Nice to see the boys helping and learning. The best homeschool EVER ! You can record with an iPhone you know, we don’t need fancy camera shots. Anyway we’re happy to hang out with you. ❤❤

I'm so happy you're back, I've really missed your videos. Our neighbors gave my Dad a hard time when he build my childhood home. I think they were a bit jealous that we had a newer and bigger house. We became an emergency shelter when a huge tornado came through our area. I think we had five families hunkered down in our basement. We had a great time eating snacks by flashlight and listening to the transistor radio for the weather report.
Can't wait for the updates. Lots are looking good.

So you have three lots now? Moved in house, cracked house, and other lot? That is a lot of work. You’re doing awesome!
Yes, there were always 3 lots. If I recall correctly they first had a big lot which was split in two, left one for the cracked house (moved in) and right one for a house that is currently in a holding lot. While Tom was doing the ground work for those lots, they got the opportunity to buy the farmhouse. So the cracked house and the other lot were put on hold to prioritise the farm house, which was the closest to move in ready (still a lot of work was done on it).

Welcome back, Tom! Hello, from our family, just north of the Twin Cities. You have accomplished so much!! And that place is going to be great! I remember when I built my home, there were people in our area who were saying our house wasnt big enough and all those comments. But we kept saying wait till we get done. We're just starting , we built a house, and then a couple years later, We built a garage a 3 car garage. They quit talking. There is a house in our area that is near amarshi area and the family said. We're gonna build a house on it and our area said you're crazy. They built a 2-story house. They raised a large family in it, and it's done fantastic. Just wait, Tom, they're going to see your handiwork. And they're going to be amazed!!!
Tom, plant a willow tree in the wettest area, and your water issues will be minimized. Willows are rated to zone 4 so should work. However, keep willows FAR away from septic systems and any underground systems as willow tree roots are very invasive...but the trees are water hogs. They can be messy, but can also be fab for water remediation. Just something to consider. You could also add pussy willow shrubs which are also water hogs. They also have invasive roots (all salix varieties do) but can help with water. Just a couple plants that could help. Arborvitaes also love water but are deer magnets and they don't suck up as much water as willow trees.
