I love listening to this with awesome stereo speakers, in the dark. All the different sounds and the emotions of the lyrics become deeper and more beautiful.
The very first time I heard this song my wife had brain cancer and I cried like a baby. She eventually did succumb but this song which killed my soul before she died is now a comfort....Thank you STG.
My dad passed 7 years ago, and this song maks me feel like a little girl talking to his "spirit" in a way. Its my next performance burlesque piece I think, in homage to what would be his 75th bday. Sooooo heart wrenching

After watching one of our favorite shows, where a husband has to bury his wife, she started to think about life if I were to go first. This song is what she came up with, in terms of putting words to feelings. It's beautiful, haunting, and made me feel more loved than I thought possible. Thank you for making such a beautiful song!

@Luckymissanonymous I discovered "if I lost you" the day the love of My life disappeared. I had it on repeat for 2 weeks and it kept me breathing. He came back. Right before I gave up. It was a miracle. The song matched so perfectly it was terrifying.
This is five years old now. Still breaks my heart every time. This is the reason I fear being in love, but it's so real it almost makes the idea of losing the person okay.
