I just did the simple norcal mod. Easier and faster. No lift needed, just leveled out the front to match stock height in the rear, my chevy sits like a beast with no rubbing.
Zone charges more for shipping than the part itself. Don’t buy from them. Get the same part from rough country for about 1/3 less when you factor in shipping.
Awesome video. Anyone know the part number for the white clips that are talked about at the 1:30 mark. - I can’t find them. I broke one. They retain the factory fender clad or splash guard - whatever it’s called. Thanks!
We do not know that part number in particular, Im sure if you show this clip of the video to your dealership parts dept. they can have it pulled up pretty quick!
All this just to fit 33s? Theres plenty of people fitting 35s with minimal trimming on leveling kits. Just cant go crazy with negative offset. Stock wheels on these trucks is about +25 offset, get wheels with similar offset and you wont have to do this. If you absolutely have to have your wheels sticking out, then just do a clean NorCal trim and dont worry about buying these plates.
Because the square fender is not a natural shape of a tire. Dodges, fords and most cars have an arched wheel well. If you took a stock height f150 or dodge ram with the same wheel package as the Chevy they would both clear with space for tire because of the arched wheel wells.
Right as he installs the last screw for the inner well liner the strut goes from Bilstein to Rancho. Magic.
This also fits the 2500 Silverado, I just got done installing mine
Can you show a video with the tire mounted please
Thanks for the informative video! Glad Zone made this product
I still prefer the traditional NorCal, plus you get more clearance. Great video for another option.
What’s the purpose of the black paint and is there a specific type of paint?

Thank you so much for this video.
Most people cut off part of the pinch weld, was there a reason you bent it back?
Part number to the zone plate?
Do they make these for a 2013?

Bob Bobby or go to a local dealer and get a quality zone kit with free shipping. Dont buy a junk country lift.
Michael Bollinger lol okay 👍. It’s a piece of sheet metal with holes stamped in it. I think I’m good with rough country over zone for that.
@@michaelbollinger8060 i dont believe brand matters on this item. id buy this item in the "great value" brand if it was available at walmart
Or just use self tapping screws and do the nor cal mod no shipping required

@@andymullen9093 do you happen to know the part number to the insert?
Will these fit 2016 Denali hd 2500 Duramax ??

Oh, that's what the instructions are for, masking paint over spay
Has anyone tried this on a 2inch level with 22x10 on 33s?
I ran 20x10 and 33x12.50 on a 2’’ level and only rubbed very minimal on the passenger side fender liner going in reverse.
Wouldn’t it just be easier to NorCal it?
Just get a 2 foot lift, it’ll have all the room it needs
Cool.. Will this bracket also fit 2019 gmc Sierra? That's where mine rubs with 305/70r18 tires.. If so let me know thanks..
Absolutely no reason for that plate , all they did was a NorCal mod . Cut bend and paint and you’re done , no need for anything else .
The square fender well has nothing to do with tire fitment. Why does everyone keep saying that ?

This is bullshit lol! Why did GM ever do the square wheel-wells? Lot of work for bigger tires
