I have an 18 with a 2in leveling kit and 295/70/18 with +18 Moto metal rims and they only rub when backing out and turning. Not too bad or as bad as the set up in the video.
What if I run 20x12 -44 with 285/45/20 with a MotoFab 3” level kit on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500
If my math is correct that’s only a 30” tire, I think you’ll be good on that man. 🤙🏼
Thanks brotha for taking the time to answer my question..
I'm planning on getting same tires but MT. Will they rub with factory 18 wheel stock
Chris Petersen sake size as well? A 33x12.50 might rub a bit on the UCA or strut with factory wheels. Might need a wheel spacer to bump them out a smidge.
@@JohnWargo93 no I'm gonna use my stock 18 wheel then 2" borla spacers
Chris Petersen I’d think you’ll be good then.. keep me posted on how she fits!
@@JohnWargo93 lol sure but it be awhile I'm waiting for my 285 75 18 to wore down tho lol
will this exact tire and rim setup fit in my 2013 2wd extended cab chevy with a 2.5 same leveling kit as yours even with trimming on the sides ?
Garrett Hobbs I’m not really too sure.. I know 2wd trucks sit a lot lower from the factory in general. 33s might be a bit too big. Might get away with like a 285/85 or something on a 20” wheel.
Great video!!
You need a NorCal bro
Anyone know what that black plastic piece is called or know a part number?
What if I run 295/40/20 will I still rub with 3” level lift..
Do you think if you had the same size tire on 18s it would not rub
WOTmorphineHITTER 33s on factory 18s seem to rub on the upper control arms because they don’t stick out far enough. Lol screwed either way or another. It’s all going to depends on what wheel and how much offset. Guys are getting away with 33s on a 20x10” wheel with like -19 offset 🤷🏻♀️
WOTmorphineHITTER have to find that fine line 🤙🏼
JOHN WARGO not the stock wheel, I meant if you tire wheel combo and custom offset was on a n 18 inch wheel rather than 20
WOTmorphineHITTER ahh I gotcha. From what I see on the Facebook groups for the 5th gen trucks you can clear em but have to find an 18” with some negative offset to push them out and away from the UCAs
Will a 33x12.5r20 rub ? I have the lift 3 front 2 back
Mine did ☝🏼
Can I put 20x14 and 33x12.50 on an 01 z71 with a 3" body lift
Can you send me the link of where you got the connections to the tow mirrors I already have the mirrors but just have the power and defrost option on my 2018 z71 but I am looking for the harness for the lights to work on the tow mirrors

If i were to lift my GMC 1500 4in with 33x12.5 with 20R and add wheel spacers will the spacers help keep the tires from rubbing
I’d say you’ll be okay on a 4” lift
@@JohnWargo93 awesome thanks. For my first truck i dont plan on doing to much trimming if i were to go bigger then 33x12.5
Is rubbing bad for anything?
I mean.. if the rub is bad enough it’ll rip some sh*t up on the wheel wells
Does this all work with a 2014?
Have you changed the control arms?
Óscar Sánchez when this video was filmed I still had the OEM UCAs.. now at this point in time I have MotoFab UCAs. Have a video with an install and review not too long ago 🤟🏼
Plastic is for the rub. Many ppl don't get it.... don't rip off the plastic rub ok.
Would a 33/12.50 -25 offset on 20’s rub with leveling kit?
BMAN Racing 10 wides? Most guys are getting away with 33s on 10 wides and a smaller offset, yes. But please don’t quote me, all trucks are a little diff. Lol
Yes 10” on a 2014 Silverado
What wheels are those?
Black Rhino Glamis
Double cab cuz the back window and door would be longer and it’s the shorter one🤦♂️
That is a double cab. Crew cab is the biggest cab.
So what size tires do not rub?
You could problably get a 20x10 on 33s and might be able to get away with just cutting the plastic valance
moral of the story is yes they will rub everytime you hit a speed bump in the mall parking lot. So dodge those an you should be able to make your daily commute on flat pavement with the offroad tires you had to have lmao..
I'll do my best! Thanks for the helpful information!
If you had -51 offset you think you would have any issues?
Ehhh yeah it’d take a good 2” to clear the fender walls.. best bet is a higher lift, or a 10” wide wheel with like a -19ish offset to tuck the tire in the corner of the wheel well
Something kinda sounds wrong with your voice maybe try move the mic back 2 inches or something Im not hating just saying FR FR
Are there spacers in the rear?
Riley Chau no sir.. all wheel offset
Dude. I was totally agreeing w everything you said.
Until you promoted “wheel spacers”
Wtf dude!!!
Mine rubs 😭
Dude u sound like ur screaming lol
So offroading it's useless
Is there really a big difference between the 2.5 and the 3 on angles
