UC Davis Coffeehouse rocks...I graduated from Davis in '90. Saw Fishbone in the Coffehouse in '86 about 200 people if that. Lots of the acts played in Freeborn Hall at the time too. It's a trip, Janet Weiss from Sleater-Kinney was living in San Francisco and followed the Donner Party in the 80's eventually following those players to Portland to start their own band in PDX.

I heard this band for the first time last night and as far as I know,they are back-there was a ticket giveaway to see them on the radio,and they are a local NYC-NJ USA band,and they rock-hope they are still around,in whatever form-and would appreciate any suggestions from anyone familiar-you can find me on facebook or Google=,if you give a shit-.....

The NY/NJ band is a different band. I just checked them out. VERY different than the Sam Coomes/Melanie Clarin band.

I think some of them became successful with a more recent project a few years back.
