They are now. I saw them in NYC in the early 90s. Told Carl Jah I was Fan Club Member #920 and he invited me and my friends backstage. Ate their food, drank their beer, and just had a ball. They are now barely a shell of the original lineup. Ed Zeppelin, Fresh Cheese and Cheese, Jah Paul Jo (RIP), Rasta Li-Mon.
Great cover of my favorite Led Zeppelin song. (What Is And What Should Never Be, to be exact!) No wonder Robert Plant said these guys are his favorite Led Zeppelin cover band.
I saw them in Pasadena California in I think 91. I clearly remember because some chick pissed me off after the show and I ended up getting arrested for reckless driving! That set me back about 2k! They were great though.
A JOKE band ? I don't think so. What we have here is considerable talent with definitve direction. And that not counting the secret weapon. One Charlie F. Hodge.
Random dude? For those who don't recognize him that's the legendary Charlie Haj, the man who provides Torte Elvis with his water and handkerchiefs during every performance. He's an essential part of the band.
Dread Zeppelin needs to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!!
I think these guys understand Led Zeppelin more than they are given credit for. It isn't a joke band.

Brilliant. Was fortunate to meet the band after a show at Bogart's in Cincinnati close to 30 years ago. Really friendly and fun people.
they just kick ass.
Awesome band
That bass player is awesome. All underrated performers
This is why no other country on earth will ever be able to take us over. What other culture could produce this?
They were great in concert!! Good times and great fun
Omg, how did I miss them!!!?😮

My guess, he was kidding.
Used to see these guys in LA. Such a twist on everything, so but so cool!
Fanfukentastik! Love them. The guitar kicks are hilarious
Yeeehaaaaaa let's rock...one of the greatest funiest vids from these great guys...yaaaahooooo 🙂🙃👍👍👍
Dude wearing the come and get me drawers has busted his spring! CRAZY!

Love this!
This is fkin awesome stuff!!
Interesting how the bassline of the B section fits in reggae perfectly
that's not some random dude, that's the legendary Charlie Haj!
Actually, Charlie was the most important member of the band. lol. ;-) :-p
@@netreacher That's not an easy job. Charlie knocks it out of the park every time. RRHoF.
Class
Espetacular😊
That goes to show that that song can stand up to more than the test of time like All of Zeppelin songs! Still I like the Concept 😂
Damn, that's was some good acid!!!
fantastic!! soo damn funny
WOW, I haven't heard this in years!!!! lmao.
precious
What up Tort!
What should have never been now is
What is and what should always be.
Wonder if the original band is any good. But this is awesome

Did they produce "Boogie With Stu"?
the random dude with the styrofaom plate just loafing around is total insanity!! lmfao

Caught myself smiling and horrified at the same time.
The guy in his undies is What Should Never Be.
Have you seen some other videos of him?
I literally feel like I saw Elvis and Zeppelin at the same gig.
Les Claypool wishes he could play bass in this band. Sadly he ain't cool enough.
Jimmy Page just slammed his fist on the table.
This comment made my day hahahaha
I used to think cover bands are stupid and pointless, then I met Dread Zeppelin
I used to feel the same way about cover bands. If you ever get a chance, and if they still exist, check out The Back Doors. Pregame of course.
Hey, is that Torte Elvis??
I took a girlfriend to see this band at city gardens lol like 25 yrs ago
We need Tortelvis more than ever! Enough of that bullshit "drill" music...
Way better than Beatallica
These guys blow Led Zepplin away !! 🤔,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NOT !! 🍺 😂 👍
????
ta :)
Absolutely dreadful. Well done
Underwear guitarist is burned into my mind now :(
I thought they might be a reggae-rock hybrid with name but no, it's more like clown class at the local asylum!
No.
Underwear lol
I saw this band back in 1990. The worst.
Dreadful.
