    I never knew that I needed the Phrase "deer antler boy moment" - also, you can go to public school and produce the same kind of Extra Literature. Only nobody will ever see my Notebooks. What Notebooks? There aren't any Notebooks left!!!

    I love that the weak neck was mentioned again! And when the big baddie is called Deb, you know it's gonna be good. 😂 These videos are truly my favorite things to watch on UA-cam. I could watch them all day

      The weak neck was definitely part of the world-building, LOL, since Arenn of the Weak Neck was Ajinn's grandfather. Should I bring that back!? 😂😂

      @@lidiyafoxgloveauthor If you could work a weak neck into the next book you publish, that would be amazing! Like a little easter egg for all of us who love these videos so much.

    Honestly I'm impressed; I had a notebook period, but it was mostly game design and really only lasted between 10-12. I got severely depressed and stopped for a while. My other creative works were lost to the void between computers (I'm in my mid-30s).

    • @lidiyafoxgloveauthor

      I was certainly devoted to the notebooks. It's amazing I didn't lose more, though I have some of those stories lost to the between-computers voids. My massive Final Fantasy IV/VI crossover fan fic is gone forever

    It’s always a good time to look back through childhood notebooks. I’m visiting my family at the moment so I’ve gotten the chance to look back through some of my own old stuff. 🙃

    I chuckled so much through this whole video. Truly, I love seeing/hearing about people's childhood art and writing! Even if I was into different stuff when I was 13, there's such a nostalgic and similar vibe to how so many of us thought and created at that age. It's just so endearing!

      I love how the canyon tragedy was just glossed over. And I could just smell the Mega Movies rental place looking at that list...

    Thirteen year old you is too funny! I noticed a couple of other descriptive details which seemed prominent: friendless and sad. Angst is hysterical in hindsight. 😂 Thanks for sharing.

      Oh yes, everyone was friendless. Except sometimes one childhood friend of the opposite sex they could fall in love with later.

    I want to see the movie production, 13-year-old you as writer/director of a movie: Magic Pants, starring a pointy eared David Bowie.

      I sure wish I could make a movie with a pointy eared David Bowie, that's basically what my character Det evolved into, haha. Though, Det is a more conservative dresser.

    Bridges of Madison country IS very forgettable . Visiually pretty, but boring. Also, I am not a Fan of sympathetic adultery stories.

    • @lidiyafoxgloveauthor
      @lidiyafoxgloveauthor  8 днів тому +2

      I don't even remember the plot! I couldn't tell you one thing about what actually happened in that movie if you put a gun to my head. I do remember it was shot in a very natural way, like I remember it made a big impression on me that someone swatted a fly during conversation? I have a feeling that was what resonated with me so much. Not the fly, per se, LOL, but the "realistic" style.
