Since I started few days ago, it was difficult to understand where to focus my mind. After seeing your videos, it is a lot clearer and I enjoy the game even more. Thanks alot for taking the time to build and write those subtitle.

32:58 I'm confused at the "2m is quite safe since he threw a pair of 1m early". Why would he not be sitting on 34m?

You are right that it's possible, the caption was a mistake. My reasoning for knowing the 2m there was that he discarded it himself for toimen to chii. Thanks for pointing it out! (fixed the caption in the video)

I really struggle to recover from deal ins. Yesterday I made a terrible decision going riichi with chiitoi on east 1 while I was dealer. Ever since that mistake, I started playing like an amateur ending up dealing into 3 little dragons and whatnot. Probably the other factor is that when reaching Expert 3, the 4th place penalty is really high and in total I lost 400 rank points since I ranked up. 2nd place doesn't even recover a 4th of the points lost.
I really liked the riichi for 2334466m456999p hand. Most cases you can get a bonus score for either iipeiko or red dora. It is unfortunate it didn't work out.
36:18 I think the other thing is that worst case scenario, you deal into both riichi. So even if the hands on their own are cheap, combined they might put you to last place.
38:26 why was the 8p drop a mistake? Because you can upgrade to 356p or 678p if you kept it?
The last hand may not ended up in Tanyao but 1st place dealing in was just as fortunate.
    Great video.

Keeping 8p allows acceptance of both 5p and 7p to complete the pinzu block.
Going riichi on chiitoi on east 1 while you were dealer is not a wrong play by itself. Sometimes you can make the correct play and still feed, sometimes you can make the wrong play and still win the game. Just because you feed does not mean you made the wrong play. It's more important to ensure you don't tilt when playing because your mental state carries over to the next round/game and you will end up making bad plays as a result of tilt.
