Appreciate everyone for tuning in and hanging out! Excited to learn more about all of these legends in the Halo community. Wutum was excellent thank you for being one of our first guests. Who should we have on next?
Eco. Everything I know about the guy is basically from a Mikwen interview on the HCS Weekly podcast. Hysteria would be another player that interests me. Karmea or whatever his name is now.
I really like how Wutum is so calm, levelheaded and down to earth though there's been a lot of hype around him lately. Humble grinder, love it. Wish all the best for the young goat! Keep cool and keep grinding.👌 Thanks Makowski, Eli and Wu!
i am in love with this series, but I really wish yall could either both upload the vids or make a new channel (or pick one of yours to host it) as it can be hard to find.
I can understand that! We've been alternating channels, but we did also make a playlist! I recommend bookmarking the playlist so you'll always know where to find the next episode ua-cam.com/play/PLkVhyZZH-Xnepdfp71PwnF0y_2LANmw9Z.html
Was playing a mouse and keyboard player, he was insane good. I forgot his name, but he was streaming also. I'll see if I can dig it up lol 😂letssss gooooooooooo this is gunna be firrrrrreeeeeeee
I think for Royal 2 to use M&K on LAN it would probably require a large sniper map to be added to the HCS pool where he would stick to controller for every other map.
So glad he’s come in like this 💪 fr MnK is far better than controller …imo They need to give MCC sensitivity controls instead of potato aim, if they did I feel like they’d get more players too as that’s why my console friends don’t play Infinite.
The only reason I play Halo is because with mouse and gamepad. I bought a XIM back in 2010 for Halo Reach. Because I absolutely cannot play with a controller. I could never grasp it. I started playing Halo on controller in 2001 then went on to counterstrike on pc with a mouse. And no one would ever consider playing with a controller on counterstrike. So I always argued that I have the advantage with a mouse on Halo. But from what I’m hearing lately is that controller players roast the mnk players. This makes me so happy to finally see Halo accepting mnk. I really do hope to see more players rocking it.
I feel like you guys ask some really long questions, almost like you are partly answering the question before you've finished asking it. Just a thought I had.
@@nominoe6759I think it's mainly because he's only 17 and talking foreign language. If you put yourself in his shoes do you see yourself talking anything and everything the long way? He talks English extremely well considering all that, there's like 5.5 million Finnish talking people on the planet and the language is literally completely different than any other, so I think he's doing a great job conversing.
Love the podcast guys but you cannot call him the "Finnish Phenom" has that title is reserved for another Finn, Joona Satola aka "Serral" of starcraft 2 Fame
We should all be on the same/even playing field. I'm not knocking MnK players or controller players by any means but in order to restore integrity to competitive gaming we need to go back to console era and everyone playing on/with the same equipment.
@@MakowskiHalo I'd argue a sport like Football. Sure players can use different cleats and gloves etc BUT those two teams that are playing against eachother use the same size ball, same rules, same size field, and same number of players on the field. I don't believe having different "cleats" or "gloves" makes a tremendous difference like playing 60 frames compared to someone on 240 frames. I believe different button controller layouts should stay a thing but again, having a different controller layout would be equivalent to having different "cleats" or "gloves" like you said above.
@@zapmando I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a "flick stick" or "Gyro aiming"? Since late 2006/early 2007 I changed my controller layout to where I shoot with my left trigger, I throw grenades with the right trigger, I aim with the left analog stick and I move my character with the right analog stick. I also use two paddles on the bottom of my controller. The left paddle is to ping and the right paddle is jump/crouch. I basically have my controller set up to where I never take my thumbs off my analog sticks for any reason. I currently use a Fusion Pro 2 Xbox Controller on an Xbox Series X
The halo community has needed an HCS podcast like this for so long. Thanks guys 🫡
there's podqasted which is one by @Outqasted very similar to this

DeadzZzone?
APG, he’s been through so many different phases of Halo.
I feel like you don’t need a guest every week some weeks you can just talk about the HCS what’s going on with teams etc

He's like the digital version of Simo Häyhä the White Death.
@@Mikey_StormFacts haha. Not really surprised tho about the calm and humble vibe, from what I know 9/10 Finns are exactly like that.
Which is so fucking cool to see because so many super young talent have to gain experience and mature to keep their cool.
love this shit guys thanks for this brillisnt content, you guys are the life and soul of the community
Awesome episode
Like the comment that we need more of that the audience knows and cares about the players, engagement in the halo competitive stage!
35:21 This is so great 😂
Young, MnK, & new to Halo, but still slaying out is amazing to see.
Can't wait to see these guys play in London, gonna be a cool event!
Loving this guys!! Keep it up! LET'S GOOOOOOOO WOOT WOOT 🤘🔥🤘🔥
Thank you Mama Death!

Fantastic podcast. The production value was also great. 👍
Appreciate that 🙌

In my opinion, it was more like nice conversation not an interrogation. Restful, respectful and fun.
It felt like that cause wutum was giving short non conversational answers lol

no scopes are DIRTY in Splitgate, much easier than halo which makes it a great game to break away from halo for a bit.

This might be a stretch, but even in professional sports athletes use different equipment ie gloves, cleats, etc.

What are your thoughts on Gyro aiming with a flick stick assigned to right stick. Have not seen a top player try it yet

the playing field is the sandbox imo
No offense, but I think he looks and acts like what I would imagine a splitgate player would look and sound like.
