  • If like to catch crappie or watch crappie being caught and even better really nice crappie, then this G3 Sportsman episode hosted by Westin Yancey is a must see. He and ACC Crappie Stix angler Kyle Lasater hit the deep bluffs of Bull Shoals Lake in NW Arkansas for some dandy crappie caught on slip corks above the treetops.

There's one thing better than sitting and drinking your afternoon coffee and watching a fishing video . . . Being out on the lake and doing the fishing yourself !!! 😁☺️

So cool guys! We caught so many crappie there last Wed and Thursday it was nuts! We threw back 152 and kept 60 keepers , 2 guys in a boat limited out both days. All on Bob G. Plastics and Gulp. Caught them 12-17' deep around conservation brush piles. A totally different deal than what you guys were doing. .Thanks for the video!

I am from northern Minnesota and have used a swivel on my slip bobber rigs and it saves you from going in to get your slip bobber back when fishing in clear water away from the boat and scaring the school of fish away.

Great video. You guys were hammering them. Question for you. What size braid do you use on the slip bobber rig?

On your rigging, is that a swivel, egg sinker, swivel to line? Great vid by the way

Can you explain in more detail the setup in particular regarding the egg sinker hardware? Is that a swivel on each end of it molded in to the sinker? If so, where do you buy them? 1/4 oz size? thanks.

Great video. Those was some tanks. I've been catching some myself on bull shoals. Love the ACC crappie stix. I've got 2 of then myself. Don't really care for the reels though. I bought one and it's just not smooth. My pluegar Trions are alot smoother. I have 2 of the 6ft 6 ACC rods. Best rod I've ever owned.

I hear ya on the Pfluegers. Best spinning reels made. Glad you liked the show and your ACC’s. Be safe out there.

First time watching your channel and just subscribed. That was some excellent fishing! Those were some monster slabs. I have an acc rod and piscufon viper x 100. Love it!

I use that same setup for years and for the very same reason. I hate to re-tie a complete rig and the tensile strength of the braid never breaks compared to the lighter leader line.

Always tell what kinda of crappie by counting dorshel fins if they are bleached out from muddy water etc ...black has 7 dorshel fins white only has 6 .....👍

Why not keep the big ones and let the small ones go. Let them get bigger while you get a bigger filet with the bigger ones. That's what we do anyway, and I have to say I have two acc rods and they are great.
