My parents were going to see a movie when I was thirteen. I am the oldest. I asked them to take me because I was old enough. And they took me to see this movie. I didn't understand it too well because I couldn't read the subtitles and watch the entire movie at the same time. However, I remember a shot that called my attention very much. It was the little girl running around the tree under the snow singing: "123 I like snow!" I love it! Although I am from the tropic and cannot do well under that weather. After I grew up in 1996 I remember pulling the movie out of the public library and watching it. However, that particular shot was missing.
Really ?? You may have just missed it, or dozed off, or something. But I thought the words were....."Yo ho ho...I love the snow....." and they were spoken by the little boy, I think. I had forgotten that Lara had a daughter fathered by Strellnikov (Pasha...Tom Courtenay) whom he meets in Lara's small upstairs apartment.....but I can't recall her appearing in the film again. Somebody who knows a little more please clarify this for me.
I saw this movie in Tokyo Japan when iwas in Vietnam and fell in love with the Music, today 56 yrs later I still listen to it. It is kind of sad.
