Que recuerdos!, este fue el primer Miss Universo que vi conscientemente. Tenía 12 años y aluciné con Cecilia Bolocco, Michelle McClean y el vestido rojo de Milka Chulina jaja. Los openings del 93 (México), 94 (Filipinas), 95 (Namibia), 96 (EEUU) y 99 (T&T) han sido de los mejores de la historia de MU. De los 2000s por lejos los del 2004 (Ecuador) y 2005 (Tailandia).

me encanto este opening lo mejor, la verdad esas fueron las épocas doradas de miss universo. hasta 2010, se vio algo de intensidad en ese concurso, hoy por hoy nada que ver la verdad ya miss universo no me impacta tanto y mas con las payasadas que se ven hoy en día, al punto en el que ya ni el presentador sabe quien es la reina, oh my god, que esta pasando.

En esos años Cecilia Bolocco co-conducia un programa llamado Ocurrio Así de la cadena Telemundo y en él hacían coberturas del certamen, en una oportunidad comentaron sobre los apellidos de algunas representantes latinas, que no eran del todo latinos...

yo creo q estos openings del 84 al 99 fueron excelentes luego poco a poco bajo la intensidad hasta el 2011 tan aburrido q no hubo nada de accion
Viva Milka Chulina, Miss Venezuela 1992-1993, verdadera ganadora de ese concurso, sobretodo por su inteligencia que nunca paso por un quirófano.

@PungiFungi You're right PungiFungi, no more spectacular openings. I really loved the one for the 1989 Miss Universe pageant held in Cancun, probably one of the most 'cheering-celebrating-joyful' ones showing a big party on stage with all the candidates.

Ya muchos años del concurso y no me explico como México no paso a la final, tal vez no la mejor para algunos, pero si una de las mejores. por cierto me encanto el opening y la música mas, donde la puedo encontrar.
Jose Gilberto Lar lo que hizo la no clasificacion de Mexico fue el vestido tan recargado y tan carnavalesco... en los puntajes de traje de baño y entrevista iba muy bien hasta que en el traje de noche la dejo sepultada. Muy linda sii es pero bueno
De acuerdo con uds. con lo del vestido, pero yo creo que se debio calificar la belleza de la persona, pues no era concurso del mejor vestido.

que lastima, los MU. de ahora son nada que ver con los de antes, los de antes eran mucho mejores mas tradicionales, las reinas de ahora parecen mas pre pago que, que,
los de antes no tenían comparación y era alrededor del mundo, no como ahora que se están quedando en usa.
MISS UNIVERSE 1994 Opening is BETTER. I really don't like the opening of this because the CHOREOGRAPHY is BORING....NO GESTURES and MOVEMENT THAT WOULD SATISFY THE beat of the lively song! MISS UNIVERSE 1988 is the opposite because the choreography is TOO MUCH and EXAGGERATED....
This one had a better opening presentation than the 1994 pageant, since it had a bigger stage.
1994 however, had a better song and choreography.
