Miss Universe 1993, the 42nd Miss Universe pageant, was held at Auditorio Nacional, Mexico City, Mexico on May 21, 1993.
Dayanara Torres of Puerto Rico was crowned as Miss Universe 1993 by the outgoing titleholder, Michelle McLean of Namibia. Seventy-nine contestants competed in the 1993 Miss Universe Pageant.
The pageant was hosted by Dick Clark for the fourth and final time, with colour commentary from former Miss Universe titleholders Cecilia Bolocco (1987) and Angela Visser (1989).
