Wow this is such a cool analysis! I have always loved color, but I haven't really dived into the surrealist realm too much with my work. I do have some ideas for the near future though! Very nice re-upload. About the moon, I think it also gives a kind of sense of scale. Giving a better notion of the size of the textures and shapes on the photos.
