  • Love me some quick change capos, this one doesn't disappoint and works as described. Any guesses as to how long it takes to start squeaking?

One feature you didn't mention is that it's double-edged: one for curved fingerboards, one for flat.
As for the spring, less tension than the Kyser (which I'm looking for) but
more then the G 7th Nashville. AND it's wide enough for my 12-string. Cheap too, just 14 bux. Hmpf, $289 for a capo - C'mon, now!

On acoustic you use it the other way around

So how long did it end up taking it, how long did it survive before it started squeaking? And have you tried it on a classical guitar, how did it sound? Do you find it to be big in a visually awkward way?
    Thanks for the video 👍

@@VanCamelCat still use it occasionally in the store, I like how the kyser clips on a headstock better (more even fit) for my personal use but as far as a great capo that works well and still hangs out on a headstock the Ernie ball are awesome :) 🤘 also keep a d’addario pro plus in my home studio because I lose capos all the time and just prefer a quick change for live playing. 😀

      @@SpottsMusic Cool. Thanks for the experience-share 🙏
Ever tried using the Axis on 4-strings only, and see if it works or falls off?
Also, have you ever tried one of those fancy G7th Performance 3? (acoustic+electric like the Axis, or their Classical guitar version...) If you have... how do they compare in your opinion? And can the G7th manage 4-strings?
Sorry, I have a lot of questions and not many people respond. Feel free to answer only what you can ^_^

@@VanCamelCatI haven’t done the 4 string thing, I used to have a cut kysers (🙃) before they started making the short cut/specialized capos.
Too cheap to try the g7th haha but guys that use them love them so it’s probably a good option

Been using Kysers myself but curious to try this new Ernie Ball capo.

I haven't been disappointed yet, works pretty much exactly like the capo. One thing I didn't realize is that it has two slopes to it (so it can be reversed if you have a neck that takes one side or the other). If you snag one let me know what you think about it. :)

is the spring stronger than kyser or is it weaker ? cause every capo ive tried other than kyser the spring was weak as hell for my strings.

Icaro Costa doesn’t press too hard, it works good.
