Yo, Fred, huge congrats on hitting that 5k milestone on your UA-cam channel! 🥳🎉 Your grind and hustle are paying off big time, man. So pumped to see your hard work getting recognized! Here's to even more success ahead, bro! Keep killing it! 🔥💪

Being over 200lbs, you would see the lack of power on a $400 hub board when it comes to terrain like grass especially. And try moving from a stop, isn’t happening. Also balancing yourself is a lot harder on the harsh bumps at that weight and at a certain age.
New video idea: put some weights in a backpack and do some rides. 😅
Congrats on the 5k subs and what you do for ESK8, glad to be one of them.

I saw his post as well. Scrolled right past it. I appreciate your last riding tips video man. I love using street wheels and I was always careful going over cracks because they would hurt my ankles. After I watched it I immediately started pumping through cracks and potholes I wasn’t able to before. Your video gave me a lot more confidence and completely changed the way I ride. I have so much more fun now. THANK YOU! 🙏

Congrats on the 5k subscribers Fred. And to the guy who said "naw its risky stuff". Jumping on an electric skateboard is inherently risky, but pushing yourself to be a better rider makes you safer on your board in general. You just have to have the balls to do it.

You are so wonderful. All riders should watch this video. Rather than constantly changing wheels, this is the essence.Confidence comes from technique, I need to practice, practice again. I also ride the veymax cejour board, thank you for the guidance during my skating journey.

The more you ride and the more you push it, the more confident you will be, if you are trying extreme shit make sure you wear all the padding because you will eat shit if you are pushing it and padded up makes that not a problem.

If you do want an off-road skateboard, I recommend the Acedeck NYX Z3

Offroading is just not fun with streetweels in my 👀🤷. But go for it if you like it.

Very true. I'm riding everywhere on a small custom cruiser on urethanes (mad wheels recently though). Potholes, curbs, grass, gravel. Weight positioning, approach angle and kicktail does wonders for overcoming obstacles. And once you get used to properly shifting your weight and throttle control it becomes super fun to ride shitty roads.
I had a trampa 5 years ago, you can get some serious offroad fun on it. But you know what trampa can't do? - you can't get groceries on it, it's so wide you can't go on some bicycle lanes or squeeze between traffic, you can't bail because of bindings, every mistake will hurt a lot so you can't ride it without full protection. It's purely an offroad machine, I'd only recommend to someone who only rides trails.

I think Learning to ride with smaller street wheels will make a person a better rider in the long run and improve there confidence.
Jumping to all terrain right away, especially if you don’t have skating experience doesn’t teach you the fundamentals of skating and doesn’t build up your confidence.
I like my boards under 20lb ,Portable and easy to maneuver with 85mm wheels.
if it’s convenient, you’ll ride it more in my experience.
But it’s all about the carving experience for me so speeds not that important.
I’ve gone through a lot of boards but currently the board I ride the most is the Evolve x Loaded Onirique,.
Bigger heavier boards just started to become a hassle. I don’t wanna lift some 37 pound board. And if I do it needs to be a real off road capable board. like a Trampa or a propel or a Baja. I don’t see the point in going halfway all terrain, but the board really can’t handle off Roading when it comes down to it. So something with actual suspension.

I think the ideal point is the ability to dodge those massive holes, but with the knowledge that if you gotta hit them you know can make it. Also well deserved 5k.

Congrats on 5k bro 🎊 🎉. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again! Best in the biz and you inspire me 🙌🏽.
I was saying this same thing to a buddy of mine when I was on vaca riding. It’s more about confidence and skill than your wheel setup 😎

Congrats on the 5K Subscribers. Yep I'm surprised what I can run over with Mad Wheels 105 at times. Havent had to hit anything big with 90 mm wheels.

I just think it requires more experience and skills to ride street wheels. At least that's how I feel with my current skill level. If I unexpectedly go over something really deep and rough, pneumatics really save me. Not expecting certain terrain on thanes almost killed me a few times. You just have to be good
