I guess it's actually based on past history like the infamous introduction of Pink Floyd by "Hans Keller". This kind of "generation gap" unfortunately isn't present anymore (or highly attenuated), most parents in my experience even "like" or readily "accept" what their children are listening to. So this anachronism here seems at first very funny but when you actually put in the historic context rather tragic and disconcerting. Don't get me wrong I'm not all for conflict no matter what, I myself have no recipe for how it should look ideally but given the circumstances it does not seems so hard to honestly challenge the generation before once you are ready to sacrifice some long-held securities along the way. Oh, I have to leave at that, Mommy is calling, y'all stay safe in those crazy times!
@@josefdulmer4770 thanks for the reference, actually! When I heard the intro, I was thinking something along the lines of "what the fck, why did they put this guy to recite this cringeworthy passage? It's not even funny." But I just watched the original Pink Floyd interview and understood! P.S. My father can't even stand what music I'm listening to (a range of extreme metal, avant garde orchestral music and generally dark stuff). When he gets to listen accidentally, his reaction is close to Hans Keller, though Pink Floyd is one of his favourite bands.
"Just imagine: a child crying, the trams screaming, then just press the record-button on your mobile phone. The recording will be undiscernible from any Brutus song." :D I wanna live on that street!
Besides the kick-ass performance, that's one surreal introduction!
Thx!

The one person who disliked this does, in fact, not wanna dance in a big, big city.

This is such a niche band . Just finished listening to nest .it’s amazing and I have no one I know that would like it
Felt the same way. Nest is absolutely amazing and I wanted to share it with everyone but dont know anyone that would appreciate it like I do.
Very nice how upfront the bass guitar is caring the song.
I love this song!
I like every live version they do of their songs. Always great.
If I made music this is what it would sound like. The guitar tone is amazing!

Dmitri Davidovicth Good point. But our host disagrees.

Erinnert mich an Knorkator ;-)
Why is no one talking about how hard it is to sing and play drums at the same time?..
...because it has already been said in other of their videos...
tbh ich schau mir die videos nur für die intros an
Das machst du richtig.
9 ppl loose their last chance
I feel some spongebob vibes!
Ich glaube, da ist irgendwas kaputtgegangen... Nach dem Intro hatte ich nur noch verzerrte Störgeräusche auf dem Kopfhörer...
