I've only recently discovered The Ocean in the past couple months, and they've shot up to #7 all-time artists on my decade old Spotify account. I can't stop listening to this incredible band! Phanerozoic I and II are true masterpieces. 🤘
Precambrian is also part of these 2 albums! Precambrian comes before however, just like earths geologic history. Precambrian makes up 3 eons; Hadean, Archean, and Proterozoic. Then after, you get Phanerozoic, which is one whole eon. ^^
I fucking love The Ocean!! The idea that so many people have contributed to the overall concept is amazing! I have many bands that I love and enjoy their music. The Ocean however hold the distinction of being the default riffs and melodies that my brian goes to anytime its allowed to wander.
