My samsung PC came with a wireless keyboard that could use an upgrade.
Would this pair with my computer? Also my current keyboard can go months without draining the batteries, and seeing as how this keyboard has a track pad I assume it goes through batteries at a faster rate.

I purchase the 55 Samsung Smart TV and the MUMN556290F/ZA keyboard and I cannot connect them because the Samsung smart TV is not blue tooth capable? Help? I do not get the same menu as in this video to add the blue tooth. Is there an adapter or something I can purchase so I can make the smart tv Bluetooth capable? I am able to see my computer pages on the Smart TV screen but cannot connect the wireless keyboard. Thank you.

I just purchased the VG-KBD2500/ZA to use with my 2015 J6300 (50 in) to make searching for a movie or video less of a hassle and though the arrow keys function, I can't get the text keys to function when in youtube. Is there some app I need to download to get the text keys to work or do I have a defective keyboard? Thanks!
+Paula Kates No. Same problems here. UA-cam app dont recognize letters input so its useless.

I just got a Bluetooth keyboard for specifically UA-cam and won't work in search. UA-cam app sucks because you can't search with the qwerty keypad. Do you have any solutions to this?
Hi JohnCranberry23. If the keyboard is not working properly in the UA-cam app on your TV you may also want to try using your phone. In a lot of the newer TVs you can look up the video on your phone's UA-cam app and then press the cast button to send the video to the TV. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching. -Carl

You could just use the search function on your tv to search for a youtube video. That way you can type with the keyboard.
True, I never thought to do that, but once you launch UA-cam and want to search for something else, you have to then get out of UA-cam and go back to the main search function. It would be easier if UA-cam just fixed the glitch in their app.

My Samsung tv Add keyboard function isn’t available - TV MODEL UN58J5190AF
5190 is not a smart tv model. At least 6500 or 7100. J means 2015 model year. At that time, not all Samsung TV are smart TV (with a CPU so it is actually a computer). Only very high end models are.

I just bought. Samsung 50" UHD TV and Logitech MK345 wireless keyboard and mouse and it doesn't work on UA-cam. Ridiculous.
I made a similar mistake. Felt like Android is too slow when flipping through channels so i figured i give Tizen a try because some of my friends gave it some praise to this part in particular. My logitech K400+ keyboard works without any issues on my PC and Android Tv but doesn't have a mouse pointer in any of the apps and menus on my Tizen Tv, besides the internet browser where it works. So i guess it's either Tizen is totally crap, as i haven't even noticed faster channel flipping, or it's just a driver issue where Samsung dropped the ball. Either way a disappointment. Not to mention that their Smart View app doesn't even see my TV. I can cast from youtube with no issue though. I'm starting to think that Samsung's reputation is a bit too overhyped.

Kalilah Evol check rtings.com they have a tutorial to activate the bluetooth. Apparently samsung intentionally disable the bluetooth function and this can be enable my accessing the hidden service menu.

My old 3d samsung tv worked with this keyboard. Just bought a new 4k samsung doesn't work. Never worked with youtube search which is main reason i bought it for my tv. Waste of hundred bucks
This is bluetooth 2.1. The current smart TV uses bluetooth 4.0 or 4.1.
I bought the keyboard with a new 65in Samsung smart tv just to find out it was not compatible. Needless to say I don't buy Samsung products ever again.
