Out of curiosity, why are you moving from UDM-SE to Fortinet? Obviously the UDM-SE losing the config is an issue, but I went to one this past year and I'm starting to swap my nest cameras for Protect.
Protect is good, I like it and I am keeping it. I am mainly switching because that's just what I do. The UDM SE has been a good appliance and they continue to improve with updates. But I have the chance to get back to Fortinet since I work there now, so it was a no brainer for me, Fortinet has way more features and protection.
@@KBTrainings Fortinet does have more features. I think our network team still has a few of the enterprise class devices here and there. That is good to know though that you haven't really had a lot of issues with the UI network portion or cameras. I'm in the Denver Metro as well so i'm happy the cameras are still going strong.
@@KBTrainings I'm not bashing the platform, but this is one of the reasons I don't push the UDM platform as much as I would like to. For now I keep everything separate and do nightly backups. For the video platform I don't have a customer that requires ultra high availability of historical video, but if I did I would go with a different solution all together.
