I would love it if you could do a set of videos using only Server Core 2025 and Windows Admin Center (running on server core 2025), Only GUI is allow is from a Windows 11 24H2 client. 1. Do a set of videos that imitate a Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2016 Enterprise deployment (MCSA) but using only Server Core 2025.
and PLEASE try not to use Power shell. back in the MCSA days, before server core, we only had GUI Servers, it was easy point & click. then they said WAC was the new and better way. We are a month away from 2025, and WAC still can't handle the "core" of Windows Server, that's "Setup & Configure" Roles & Features. Using a Web GUI to install a Role or Feature means nothing if that Web GUI can't configure them.
Hello, i was supposed to download the desktop version and downloaded the core edition and can only get the msconfig in cmd. Is there anyway to undo it or do i just need to install a fresh copy of the os?
@11:49 - is the domain controller a Server core ???
or is it a GUI?
Core
