I thought I was going to have to put one or two plants on my deck. Thanks to these creative people, I now know how to utilize my deck for a vegetable garden in the summer. Thank you for the peppers, lettuce and tomatoes I hope to enjoy this simmer.

What an awesome idea! 🤗 I personally would have planted a small tomato variety, such as super sweet 100 or Florida everglade or Tommy toe, which are all indeterminate. Then I would plant Swiss chard on top. That way you could harvest from both all season long. 🤗
@@doinacampean9132 that wouldn't be that big of an issue. With any variety that puts out long runners, you could always trim and train them up and over the framework or wiring that the containers hang from. For example, I've seen people repurpose old laundry hanging lines in this manner.🤗
for cutting plastic like these get yourself a pair of "Lexan scissors" aka "Polycarbonate scissors" They make cutting plastics so much easier, especially the curved type. dont use a soldering iron :/ to make a nice perfect finish where you made the cuts use a Dremel with a sanding drum.
Just a small note, plastic fumes are highly toxic. Do not use soldering irons to cut plastic unless you do it outside, and you wear a proper mask capable of removing the fumes.
This kinda stuff isnt emphasised enough!!! Seems very nitpicky but it should be taken seriously... Also you can feed the cut pieces of plastic to mealworms..

Maybe feed with a tea compost? Basically any weeds (nettles would be ideal) in a bucket of water for a few weeks, then add to the water.
