@@SylviaRustyFae They're not clones of Billy. They're a mix of his genes and the Ideal Plantsim, a hidden NPC that kinda looks like an elf. That's why some of the babies have big cheeks like their father and some don't like.. their.. other father?

I’m not sure why, but the plant father and plant child was very wholesome when they set the house sprinklers off.
It was far too wholesome for Kevin, so naturally he had to inmediately ruin it by slaving said child forever to a live of endless fishing with no rewards. But well, at least its not a solitary life since all his siblings are equally slaved. Thats something positive there, right?
its interesting how innovative and unique the old sims games were in the early 2000's. We have evolved, but backwards. The Sims is nothing like it was.
Sims 3 is my preferred middle ground.

Fencing the plant sims in with running sprinklers so they have all their needs met and just nonstop fishing... That's gotta be the most genious optimizing I've ever seen in a video game hahaha. This is function over form to it's ultimate level. XD
FYI: The higher your sim’s aspiration meter, the more money you get from the money tree

Like, I know the other aspiration rewards function better or worse depending on the sims aspiration meter. It has to be gold or higher for them to work successfully. But the simoleon tree?! Wth xD

Yo Kev, lazyduchess have a lot of cool mods for the Sims 2, some even fixed the bug with the Sims 2 problem with NPC stand off after you asked them to go out/ date.🤷♂
Watching Kevin play the sims has really shown me how much I've been unnecessarily handicapping myself all these years by having a conscience

I feel like no matter who my sims are and what they do, they'll always end up becoming a farmer. It's inevitable. I guess I'm just trying to live out my own dreams in the Sims while I work toward them in real life. 😂

God, same. Sims 4 Cottage Living made it possible to live out my off-the-grid homegrown homestead dreams while IRL my one tomato plant does its growing

Its both a talent and a curse (for everyone he farms). But if he gets the people he farms, who happen to be identical clones of himself, to farm the plants for him, doesnt it counts as he is the one farming? What a life hack. Surely this means that, even if everything and everyone he plants only exits to suffer and die, Kevin is a farming genius.

Hi! The reason your sims have so many breakdowns is because their aspiration meters are in the red. And when they age up they get the "grew up badly" fear, which triggers the breakdown. My advise for plantsims would be family aspiration, they'll get some wants filled here and there while hanging out with their siblings while fishing. Indefinitely.

This was my favorite expansion when it came out as well! I had a pregnant sim die of the flu during this era...weird how we still love those traumatic memories, lol. Thanks for another Sims 2 video. I love these so very much.

If you put the greenhouse growing light in your house, the plant sim becomes essentially always fulfilled on sunlight.

I think Sims 2 introduced the PlantSim 😂 They are generally very easy to maintain. There’s a sunlamp in Build/buy and even a small pool (not pond/lake) will take care of the water need. Love you can think of like pleasure/social type thing.?

So proud of you Kevin. Did this almost exact thing in Sims 3 a while back and it was an absolute blast. Had alien babies instead of plant sim slaves though and they ended up training race horses on the side instead of robots. Very inspired to try and get my Sims 2 game working again after seeing this masterpiece. Hope we get to see Billy Hill again sometime!

Funny thing is, I just made a nice farm in my sims 2, and a dysfunctional family to go along with it. Favouritism, bad parenting, teen that lives in a little barn, even a nice patch of sunflowers. All that is missing is a little spot for a Jim Pickens cult gathering, though they may decide to dance among the trees, steal the crops and mooch a nap or two from the kids beds.
This idea is AMAZING! We all bow down to Kevin's top tier gardening ability! Genius!

It is truly amazing the Sim challenges Kevin does, that seem damn near impossible, yet he succeeds. Usually, from the blood, sweat, and tears of his prisoners, but success nonetheless

Overall I'm actually kinda impressed. Successfully found a way to avoid excessive motive decay, Along with acquiring multiple workers and keeping their motives up as well. As far as I'm concerned it's not mistreatment because they're plants and they're not unhappy about it. It honestly makes me more inclined to have a plant sim the next time I play. I usually just ignore it because you can't change their hairstyles and it takes a lot of pesticide to transform them.
