I moved to Zephyrhills approximately 20 years ago from Alaska...major temperature change for me. We don't see the Police very often, which I like. I was flying jumbo jet's internationally at the time...retired now. I was a skydiver and Z-Hills has a very nice Drop Zone at the far side of the Airport...go jump. Tampa Airport is around a 45-50 minute drive. Blue Sky's.

Amazing how many people come to the area to skydive 🪂. I hear great things about it but not getting me to jump out of a well operating plane 😀

They are not giving a true review of Zephyrhills - it is not really a small rural community anymore. It was at one time mainly a retirement community but over the last 15 yrs, it has grown tremendously and most of the farmland has been sold to developers for stores or housing developments. For shopping, Zephyrhills offers, Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart Super Center, 2 Publix's, 2 Winn-Dixies, Bealls, Ross, & TJ Maxx plus many chain restaurants like Chilis and Ruby Tuesdays. So yes it is not as big as Tampa or Lakeland but it is not a true rural community any longer either.

We appreciate your feedback. It has indeed grown over the years but still is considered rural in comparison to Tampa or Wesley Chapel. And if it’s not there now it’ll sure be there in the near future. Thanks for your candor!

Should check out Dade City and San Antonio Florida.where the new Crystal Lagoon at 15 acres at the Mirada development will be twice the size of the Epperson Lagoon at Wesley Chapel, the Mirada Development will be a 3,000 housing development,San Antonio recently got it's new Publix,San Antonio has a quaint but very small downtown but the Crystal Lagoon at Mirada at San Antonio appears to be close to finished.

Advent Health will also be building a hospital in Mirada on the triangular parcel of land across from Publix. With the widening of Rt52 it will eventually grow to another Wesley Chapel in a number of years.

@@bitaminv21 I agree although the much higher interest rates might slow down the growth.

Great video. I'm interested in possibly investing in Zephyrhills as a young investor. I love that its quaint and country. I don't like the metro style of say Orlando. How does this area weather hurricanes?

Zephyrhills is definitely more inland and fairs hurricanes rather well. If you’d like to shoot us an email we currently have a perfect investment property in Zephyrhills right now that I can share with you.

@@patrickbarros3310 Funny how things are always relative. I'm from New England and read, "3 years, 2 hurricanes" and think, that often??? We had one 33 years ago in 1991 - Hurricane Bob. My sister and hubby got stuck in Irma. They live in Naples and managed to ride it out. I want to move to Florida, but hurricanes are a concern.

Unfortunately something you encounter throughout the state. Obviously the further in you are from the water and flood zones you’ll primarily be dealing with wind.

These real estate prices are ridiculous. The homes are that nice looking neither. Why are you not showing the inside of these homes?

The intent is to show you the area and more or less what you can get for the money. Assuming the current homes will no longer be available.

Actually those prices are actually cheap compared to the rest of Tampa Bay.
