As Vietnamese, I know Vietnam is so underrated. But personally, I think that makes my country become a secret gem of the world, and you along with those who found this secret gem deserve to enjoy it. Sorry for my bad English ~~
Paddy, oh my goodness - your approach to Vietnam is so different from everyone else's. The way you are capturing the people, the landscapes, the culture - in a cinematic way that is truly amazing. I have watched dozens of UA-camrs covering Vietnam, but your methodology is something unique and extraordinary. Your editing has again evolved to an even higher level that tells a compelling story. Keep this approach up. I loved Thailand...but you are hitting new levels in Vietnam!
Hi Paddy. Love your content. Ive never owned a drone but would love to rent one for my upcoming Vietnam trip to Hanoi, Ninh bin and Halong bay. Any recommendations on where I could rent a drone camera in Hanoi ?
Rice paddies, water buffaloes, chickens, and ducks! Now, look at the Vietnamese kids playing in the mud on a hot day and having fun jumping from the huge rock into the blue-emerald water, in the middle of the spectacular natural scenery! This is in fact the dream of many of us. They do have the best life as Paddy mentioned. The Vietnamese kids are certainly living the dream, aren't they?
Only in the countryside, my nephews in Hanoi only care about video games and only stay indoors. Not like these kids, these kids are precisely how me - my old generation (I'm 26 now) and my parents used to live back in our teenage time

@@nl7002 the first road he drive through could be the DT152, which is a local road and has a small river on his left hand. And the first bridge is Thanh Phu Bridge.
Apparently the Bun you had in Son La is not Bun Cha (as you said should be bbq pork belly and bun with fish sauce), but it's written on its banner: Bun ca (without "h") which makes it the bun with fish (cá). Enjoy your riding :) As a Vietnamese, who has never had a chance to travel through my own country, I envy with your experience :)
Haha…yeah, I also saw the Bun Ca (fish), not Bun Cha, sign on the shop and had a good laugh when he said the meat tasted like fish!! He’s Vietnam video series are awesome!!
I am Vietnamese. I come from Quang Ninh where Ha Long Bay is the natural wonder of the world. I once had a trip like you, with the same route you took. stop where you stopped. oh no mistake, you remind me of that trip, the mountain cave do not have in the route but it's great that you got to know and stop there, just like I used to. Welcome to Vietnam. I hope you will visit Quang Ninh, my hometown
Beautiful country, made even more so by the lovely people. I found everyone kind and friendly when I was there. Thanks for bringing all those memories flooding back.
As long as Vietnam is still ruled by the oppressive and exploitive Communist regime, her potential remains greatly diminished. For any 1% that wants to stay, 99% of the population wants to get out, and many have risked their lives doing just that (for example, 39 doomed lives found in UK container truck recently on the news, and that's only what's been reported), unfortunately. Yet another shocking and also recent example is that during the Covid pandemic when almost all countries assisted their citizens with financial aids in one form or another, the corrupt and murderous Vietnamese Commie regime saw it just another opportunity not to help but to exploit its ruled citizens even more, essentially making money over the corpses of its citizens by presumably killing at least 30K of them, due to misdiagnosis and being and cramped into barbwired unhygenic living quarters for isolations, so that they had to sleep on the concrete floors, with inadequate food, water, or medicine, like animals, with the fake nostril Covid test kits, mislabeled as approved by World Health Organization (WHO) in Việt Á scandal, colluded by at least 4 different government agencies (Y Tế , Khoa Học, Công Nghệ, Quân y) and the top Politburo members, including Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Phạm Minh Chính, Nguyễn Xuân Phúc. Murderous Vietnamese Commie regime even had a thug murdered Christian pastor Giuse Trần Ngọc Thanh, like it has done with many other pastors across the nation. There is a reason why the current Commie Vietnam ranks at the bottom of the world in freedom of speech and freedom of the press, barely above Commie China and Commie North Korea. Similarly, its passport ranks at the bottom, 89th out of 111 countries for a reason, barely above North Koea 104th rank. even below many African nations. For comparison, South Korea 2nd rank. That's what Republic of South Vietnam would have likely been ranked among at least the top 10 had it not been invaded and occupied by the North Vietnamese Commie terrorists, aided by Commie Soviet and Commie China. Travelers to Vietnam in her current form (not at all like this before the Communists took over) should keep this in mind. Behind the beauty of the land and smiling faces at popular tourist destinations, there are a lot of darkness and sorrow, horror, and sufferings all over the country.
I have been to Vietnam 2 times travelling from North to South Vietnam, but I have to admit Vietnam's impressive natural scenery in this video is totally new to me.
I can't find the words Paddy! Spectacular scenery. You have certainly sparked my interest in Vietnam and it's natural beauty. Driving through the cave was madness. Haha. I think I smiled all the way through this one, especially the bit with the young boys swimming in the mud and jumping from the rock. So special. Thanks Paddy.
@@PaddyDoyle. I am following Noralie on youtube. She's riding her off road motorbike from South America to Alaska. She is in Mexico now. Every vdo she shows on the map the road she rode previously. The time with the children in the water. ❤️❤️❤️. And the ending drone shot with the kids running towards it. Absolutely beautiful ❤️❤️. That filled my heart with joy!
What a beautiful video...from the innocence of the children swimming in the lake to the women picking the tea, I loved it, loved it, loved it. It is a stunning part of the world with amazing people. Thanks for this Paddy, easily my favourite video so far 😉👍😁
Gorgeous drone footage of the Vietnam country side! Just Epic! That cave was something else. Driving by braille! Such a epic journey so far. If you ever need a sidekick! Can't wait to see more!
I do agreed with you this is one of the best video in your Vietnam trip. Thank you for putting in all the difficult efforts, thousands of hours, passions , courage and commitment to capture the Vietnamese life in country side. I like most the boys playing in the muddy water, climbing high up the rock, jump down , swimming. Not many children in the world have these opportunities, a lot of children grown up with mobile phones, internet games, thick and heavy text books such as bangkok, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur , Singapore etc, etc…If those kids in those countries I mentioned above seen your video, they must be jealous. Your video is so special and different with others. You play attention to details trying to show the world like us do not have the opportunity to travel like you to enjoy beautiful view of millions dollars- driving motorcycle through a cave like the local did, excellent job, keep going your good job paddy , I salute you!
I so enjoyed this video. It brought back memories of our trip to Vietnam 8 years ago. We are a quite elderly couple so didn’t have the opportunity to do what you can do and travel far and wide on your trusty steed, but what we saw was amazing. We visited Hanoi, Hue, Hoi An, and finally Saigon. It was a wonderful experience we will never forget, thanks for showing us so much more than we could ever see!
Those kids at the rock playing in the watering hole with their mates are so lucky. Little do they know its' a great time in their lives to have experiences like that.
That lemongrass chicken dish looked quite delicious, it's probably the best in the region. The rural landscapes with bright lush greenery are absolutely breathtaking. Similarly, when tourists come to Sapa, stay in the city for accommodations and go trekking with local tour guides between indigenous villages to enjoy the stunning beauty of the rural Sapa rice terraces.
So heartwarming lovely to see happy people going about their gorgeous homeland. You can't imagine that not long ago a merciless war waged onto these beautiful people. Salute to the Vietnamese people and their future looking so bright and glorious.
Brilliantly shot, amazing storytelling, super enjoyable and engaging every single video Paddy. One of the most immersive video stories I have recently seen and can't wait for more. Pls keep them coming!
Oh Paddy, you truly deserve everything that comes your way. Peace, happiness, love, money! You really genuinely have the best heart, you do and care so much for people. It’s the best thing watching you speed so much love!

So lovely!! My goodness, the whole thing looked like perfection! And to add on top of that seeing the boys having literally the best time ever... Such a contrast to the children in the city. So precious!
Finally a video covering the Son La province and the Northwest! Statically Vietnam's poorest region, but as you showed, more than rich in the natural beauty and friendly faces. The 30mins flew by Paddy, keep them coming 😍
I loved the longer video Paddy! Wow, that scenery is unbelievable. I had no idea Northern Vietnam was so stunning. And the food looks amazing as well! Looks like the Mini 3 is working out for you - your drone shots are amazing.
@@PaddyDoyle. that shot with the kids running toward the drone was beautifully cinematic. The new soundtrack is lifting everything too. This is great work.
After visiting Vietnam four times, I still havent got the opportunity to visit far north. Judging by this travel series, it is an absolute MUST to check out next time. A huge thumbs up for Paddy! 👍🏻
The best scene of the whole video is when you are taking the drone towards the water and all of the children are running towards the drone in slow motion. That looks like something out of a movie. What a beautiful cinematography you did there in such a gorgeous place.
This video was Epic. The descriptions, the videography..all just simply amazing. And then-the kids playing, laughing, chasing after the drone. My heart has been warmed. Thank you Paddy Doyle.
The reason why it tasted like fish is that you actually ate fish. You got "Bún cá" which is noodles with fried fish (normally talipia). "Bún chả" is spelled with an "h". 😂
Amazingly beautiful video here, Paddy! You showed fantastic beautiful sceneries from the beginning to the end. Absolutely love the boys climbing atop that rock with the flag and jumping off...awesome drone shots from that area. So glad you went through that cave as Tigit mentioned NW Vietnam was their favorite and they went through that cave, but you showed so much more of it.
No matter how much lipstick they try to put on the pig, it’s still a pig. That’s exactly Vi et is, because of the slum culture with full of lies, cheats, deceits, stealing, and littering indiscriminately. Sad. Look at it.
LOVE this video so much!! You could have made it 2 hours long and I would have kept on watching and wanting more. Such an all-around fantastic video, I didn't want it to end!!

Paddy, I tuned into your channel near during your break from completing the Thailand series (first time commenting). Amazing video. Mission accomplished I certainly feel as if I am traveling with you. Thank you for all your hard work and for adventuring and taking life to the Next Level where Adventure transmutates existence.
Wow what an epic vlog that was !! The phrase Next level mate needs to be rewritten… I didn’t think you could out do what you did in Thailand but how wrong I was. Beautiful country and beautifully filmed, hats off to you mate 👍
Beautiful stuff Paddy mate. I've decided I'm going back, got to see it one more time. Stunning beautiful filming for a beautiful country. Keep it going mate 👌

Paddy your Thailand adventure was epic this one is incredible ! as a 62 year old fart ! who has been to Thailand and Vietnam a few times your travels are inspiring I just wish i was younger to risk riding a bike to these places ! never mind I will just let you show me, thank you !
Northern Vietnam has wrapped it's arms around you and gave you a big hug.I sensed that in your voice as you were describing the landscape and the locals. The pace of life in an urban setting forces many to skip or miss out on life's simple but necessary pleasures. Those kids playing and swimming is what it's all about and your narration of it had me teary-eyed. Keep up the great work Paddy. On a side-note,you should have named your bike Paddy Field as 1) It is your name and 2) For the amount of padi fields that you have come across on this journey.
Gracious my friend. I know you had the benefit of a location that just painted beauty where ever you pointed the camera but your skills and incredible production value is off the rails! Quite seriously, this video, rather this entire series so far, rivals any high level production from the best of highly compensated and funded professional shoots out there. BBC has nothing on you Paddy! This is absolutely broadcast ready from the sequences you have selected, the artistry of your edits and the story you have constructed both visually and in the audio. What a thrill to say "Hey! I know this guy!" Thank you.
Did not know Vietnam has the longest glass bridge in the world. It looks amazing. Also, the Golden Bridge in Bana Hills won the world's leading iconic tourist bridge category at the 2021 World Travel Awards after having beaten 11 other rivals including some of the world's iconic bridges such as the Henderson Waves Bridge in Singapore, Panorama Langkawi in Malaysia and Mishima Skywalk in Japan. Both of the bridges are definitely on my bucket list when I am back to Vietnam this September.
You deserve to have more suscribers and views than now. Your production and story telling is on point ! Loved every second of it. Vietnam is incredible !
The length of this video is great! Love the drone footage….absolutely beautiful countryside of Vietnam away from the congested city! Clean air and fresh surroundings….thanks for sharing this amazing video Paddy😊 You’re definitely the ultimate UA-camr to watch:)
One can search "cuop dat dan" (meaning "land robbing of citizens") right here on YT to see endless footages and the torrid truth about current Vietnam under the corrupt and murderous Communist regime which can rob lands and homes from citizens anytime, since 1953 (Ho Chi Minh's land reform 1953-1956, killing nearly 1 million North Vietnamese), all over the country, spanning for decades.
Spectacular !!! Looks like this road less traveled is the one to be on. Mai Chau would be the spot to stay a day, week or year. Beautiful scenery, great food & a beautiful girl. What more could one want ? That shot of the women with the baby (28:24) is priceless !!!! That is Vietnam.
Paddy, your videography is improving with every chapter of your travels. I don’t know what you’re desires are, but I can see a bright future for you in travel videos. In addition to you’re continuously improving technical skills what sets you apart from many UA-camrs is your content, your commentary and most of all your positive attitude. I’ve followed you since you left Chiangmai and continue to look forward to each of your videos.
Spectacular scenery, so beautiful! You crazy adventurous, cave riding! I enjoyed you stopping and watching the kids swim. All very interesting and pleasant, thank you for sharing.
You crack us up Paddy. You made my wife and I laugh out loud with the Amy Winehouse comment. We follow a number of people and your videos, are by far, the best in their mixture of GoPro and Drone footage. You are a natural when it comes to speaking and we really enjoy your perspectives on the people and surroundings and the impact on you!!! Awesome Paddy!
By far, this is the best video of Vietnam. Kids swimming around the rocks is what heaven looks like. But you’re crazy driving through that cave with bats. I was scared for you. 😅

Thank you Paddy. Your enjoyment of living through this Vietnamese journey just shines through in your videos. They are brilliant 👏
Easily your best ever. So glad to see you in positive spirits. Brilliant 🤩
The reason why it tasted like fish is that you actually ate fish. You got "Bún cá" which is noodles with fried fish (normally talipia). "Bún chả" is spelled with an "h". 😂
Those kids.
Those boys !
Just G O L D ✨⭐️🌟💫✨⚡️☀️
That’s living !!!!!!!
30:43 Yes, respect~~
Sad. Look at it.
@@nocancelcultureaccepted9316 You're getting repetitive and boring now.
LOVE this video so much!! You could have made it 2 hours long and I would have kept on watching and wanting more. Such an all-around fantastic video, I didn't want it to end!!

@@nocancelcultureaccepted9316 What do you know, you again. Took you a while to get to Paddy's videos, I see. You're slipping, there, buddy....or were you too busy leaving negative comments on other Vietnamese-related youtube channels? So many videos, so little time, eh?
Third time I've watched this series and this episode is the nuts ❤
Haha thanks mate
Paddy, I tuned into your channel near during your break from completing the Thailand series (first time commenting). Amazing video. Mission accomplished I certainly feel as if I am traveling with you. Thank you for all your hard work and for adventuring and taking life to the Next Level where Adventure transmutates existence.
Thanks for watching ♥️
Thank you Paddy for this one. Thank you! Best one yet for me. I absolutely loved this. 🥰
Wow what an epic vlog that was !! The phrase Next level mate needs to be rewritten… I didn’t think you could out do what you did in Thailand but how wrong I was. Beautiful country and beautifully filmed, hats off to you mate 👍
Your video footage is so beautiful!. Beautiful picture angle!
Beautiful stuff Paddy mate. I've decided I'm going back, got to see it one more time. Stunning beautiful filming for a beautiful country. Keep it going mate 👌
Videos like this is what I want to see when I want to learn about other countries and cultures, just seeing a small snap shot of their lies is soothing in a way.
On a side-note,you should have named your bike Paddy Field as 1) It is your name and 2) For the amount of padi fields that you have come across on this journey.
thanks!
Oh my god. Through a freaking CAVE! Love it.
I know this guy!" Thank you.
wow thanks John! really happy to hear that :)
Well said. Definitely incredible production. Epic.
Paddy, I am so enjoying your Viet Nam series, keep up the great work, just outstanding work!
Many thanks!
I've been watching you for a while now and I love your content, Vietnam looks absolutely amazing, looking forward to the next one 👍🏻
amazing , this scenery and their life make me slow down life
The length of this video is great!
My favourite shot too ❤️
Paddy, your videography is improving with every chapter of your travels.
Thanks Bob 😄
Absolutely stunning video. Don't worry about the video length, mate. The more the better.
Great video. The Vietnemese people seem so happy with their simplistic life. They say they less you have the happier you are.
I love the reflection of blue sky and clouds in the bikes mirrors 😍 and the road through the cave 👌 😀 what an adventure!!
Spectacular scenery, so beautiful! You crazy adventurous, cave riding! I enjoyed you stopping and watching the kids swim. All very interesting and pleasant, thank you for sharing.
Kicking goals in the game of life . Luv ya Paddy 👍👌
Picture is phenomenon 👏👏👏 village kids are so adorable 🧡 happy travelling
Keep it up paddy we all watching u
God bless
Oh, you are truly crazy as you bravely cross the dark canyon. "Light in the end of tunnel". A very memorable feeling.
The hearts of the rural people are as beautiful as the countryside they call home. Make your mind like nature. Clearly, they found that peace.
Paddy, one of your best vlogs to date. That cave drive was mental. Loving the editing. And yes the countryside in Vietnam is EPIC. Thanks so much.
Awesome Paddy!
haha thanks!
By far, this is the best video of Vietnam. Kids swimming around the rocks is what heaven looks like. But you’re crazy driving through that cave with bats. I was scared for you. 😅
rice fields surrounded by mountains real vietnam.....just beautiful 🔥❤️

Love the clip of the local boys swimming.
Wow loved it. The country side is nothing short of spectacular.
I must go there, another one for the bucket list.
Wow! Gorgeous scenery. Your camera is excellent! What beautiful colors and sharp clarity.

Every morning on our morning walk my wife an myself take in your most recent video. It's the best way to start our day that you for sharing and we hope to revisit Vietnam again next year.
I had mixed feelings while watching your videos, I have shed tears many times when I see the circumstances, the poor children on the road, and then amazed to see the majestic scenes that right away even vietnamese like me have never seen reality, sincerely thank you for your beautiful videos with honest moments about our country. Hope you will have a lot of fun and interesting experiences in your upcoming journeys. Hope your channel is always successful and has more followers. Love you from the bottom of the heart of a Vietnamese ! ❤️
Hiya Paddy, hopefully, you will not have to see that anymore. The kids at work. So heartbreaking. You did well with that weather. Wow, thank you for the ride. Love watching your adventures. So beautiful. Breathtaking views. Love you dancing with the kids. Epic footage. Perfect music. Gave me goosebumps. Love the shortcut through the cave. Sod that by yourself. It was dark before you turned the lights off. Lol. Amy Winehouse fans, you crack me up. Only 220km. You're a legend, Paddy. That is some drive and numb bum. Beautiful glass bridge. Although I felt sick just watching you walk on it. Gorgeous room by the rice fields. Such a cute little boy. Smiling at you. Beautiful video. I did not want that to end. Love the longer videos. Gorgeous. Love the evening vibes. Wonderful community. Packed full. Of special moments. Thank you for sharing. So lovely to hear how calm and relaxed you are. Well done all the traveling. Can not wait for more. We love you, Paddy. Have a wonderful weekend.
