What an ensemble cast how can you not want to go see this epic looking move i have been and am just now still sick or i would have been by now cant wait to see this movie mouth watering prospect great cast hasnt paul mescal had a meteoric rise to the top well deserved i was blown away stayed in one day few years back browsing thru iplayer and watched all of NORMAL PEOPLE was mesmerised fantastic young actors daisy also was great

Ridley Scott owns the intellectual property that is Gladiator and can do as many sequels as he wants. Just like Marvel does with its IP. To the negative people below, Its unfair to be negative because Gladiator 2 exists, before you have even seen it. Its even worse to blame the cast when they made what is at worst, a well made/ well acted couple of hours of entertainment. Stop whining and badmouthing.
@@classactsexpertiseandinspi4815 I agree. It's baffling to me that people who claim to love the 1st one are badmouthing the 2nd one saying that no one is asking for this or the sequel is so unnecessary. They're disrespecting Ridley who literally owns the Gladiator story

I don't think Denzel does too much of the whole actor explaining the depths of their acting crap. He is normally short on those questions because there are some of them that just see it as a job and a good one at that. He's down to earth and avoids all that pretentious crap. Like he said, it's Gladiator and it's Ridley Scott, it's a yes. You don't need to get into the depths of what you wanted to tackle in your character. He got to work with another legend again and recieve a fat paycheck. He isn't afraid to just call it what it is.

@@jthomas420 well, the freaking dull interviewer sure is pretentious with all her super long and boring questions. she just wants to come across as inteligent and knowlegeable of films and the acting world, and denzel is not buying it. If the question is pretentious, he just gets annoyed. And thats brilliant of him, cause, How the hell does she think she knows so much about this movie's characters? The only ones that know that are them, the actors.

thank god the actos detect this and answer just not taking themselves too seriusly and making jokes and everything. They know its a shitty conference, one of many, so youre not gonna get too much depth and instrospection from them in every freakin interview or conference. they pretty much have to do this by contract.

God its annoying when these interviewers talk like they knew everything about acting and filmmaking. Hold on a sec, Hooow do you what acting is about or what's what for an actor?? She talks soo freely like she was an actress, and shes not, that's why the questions get a bit annoying, like I can tell Denzel often doesnt know how to answer these queestions, cause she instead of asking a question from a humble and ignorant place, she throws all these assumptions about actors and the process of acting and creating a character before hand.
They should just stick to the basics of the questions and let the Actors teach you with their answers.
