Yeah well, I think you are right. The whole point of Airco's is that they dissipate the heat generated by cooling the air, outside. This thermocouple generates as much heat as it is going to cool down, effectively making it obsolete and a waste of energy. I actually believe you generate a bit more heat, overall.

The fan in the hot side of the petier will blow more hot air than the cold side cool, this will warm the room up without ducting the heat outside

Air coolers are not meant to cool the room per se. It’s just to give relatively cool air delivery through the blower ( which ofcourse does cause cooling in dry heat but I dun think it lasts once the cooler is switched off). I can’t make out if he’s using the peltier to cool the water or the giant centrifugal fan is sucking the cool air generated by the peltier. I assume if the water is used to cool the hot side then lesser heat will be generated assuming the blower is sucking the cool air generated by the peltier. Anyways practical or no, cool video-
I think it may works better than ordinary air cooler if you put the side where the peltier is beside the window if you just want a direct cool air without adding water or ice at 26degreeC.this thing it will only works for people who live in a tropical country because we already considred/satisfied that temperature is cool air
No it works, for my Hamsters enclosure at least. 50 X 50 X 60 centimeter, when outside temp is 33 to 34C the inside temp is comfort 26 - 23 C with thermostats controlled. And I use huge heatpipe heatsink with 12V 6Amps peltier. This vid setup only makes room even hotter more humid as well

@@debasishrath7943it will not work because Peltier module generates a lot of heat on one side
To absorb heat a heavy duty heat sink is required with FAN that will alone cost around 1800 INR
To power that Peltier+ FAN a constant 6 Ampere SMPS power supply is required
Total will be around 2500 INR
Wastage of money and time..
Instead to this Peltier , ibstall a water chiller using compressor of an old refrigerator

Try to have a separate container of radiator coolant for the hot side of the peltier
It can go from 28°C to 10,000°C in that room real quick with that power supply.
Just add a duct pipe for that heat fan to push hot air outside as you see in a portable AC unit via a window frame
Oye amigo si ya tienes un sistema de enfriado por agua del aparato aprovechalo en vez de utilizar la celda enfriada por el ventilador, y otra la celda va dentro del agua aislada y protejida la parte electrica; te recomeindo comprar un pequeño radiador de computadora para pasar el agua por el mismo y se refrijere mejor así como un bloque enfriador para colocarlo con la celda, y ocupa la parte mas grande de alumnio del kid que ya tienes y que este sea el que se congele en vez del pequeño, y saca la fuente de poder de ahí amigo te va a ser corto con la humedad como dice billy;saludos espero no haberte molestado y te sirva el consejo.

This is a good way to blow and light your house on fire. The SMPS is kept inside the cooler where there is water activity. And we know water and electricity do not gel.
If there is a water leak on to the SMPS, it will start to arc and burst into flames..
The power you put in converts to heat in the room so you are actually heating the room while providing a small amount of cooling inside the cooler only. BTW you placing the transformed inside the wet unit is very dangerous.
i suggest that make another video that must connect the cool side tube to an evaporator and let it work in front of a fan, then the hot side must be placed outside the room so it will not alter the cool of the room...
Its a no no. 12v power suppply will get well inside.
Can you try to use water block to remove heat to outside the room? Using long hose to deliver the heat to the fan and radiator outside the room
How did you connect the peltier system to the cooler? I wanna try it myself, but with a different setup, putting the peltier system outside the room, and the cooler near the window.
Here the main two problems are Humidity and heat released by peltier.

Ok, looking at it physically. The Idea is nice actually, but sucking the cold air from outside and blowing it back outside after it cooled the hot peltier side would be useful. In this setup, you increase room temperature and waste energy

Use cold side peltier to condense humid air.
Cool condensed water collected into the water tank.
Use that that cool water to cooldown the hot peltier side. Pump, water cooling

Maybe can use bigger cooling fin for the cold peltier side to avoid icing, but work as condenser.
Put it inside air cooler casing.
Condensed water will drop into water tank.
Modify water pipeline from air cooler water pump to peltier cooling system before it gets to top water tank.
And here you can see how to built a fan heater and room humidifier...
