Hey everyone. The info in this video is pretty outdated already ; the OHF donation amount is now over £2k! I will likely make the donation at the end of this month instead. Will keep you all posted. Thanks to everyone who bought a shirt, sent a superchat or just watched the videos.
You said thank you to the fans for being cool. You're welcome dude. Your show and commentary is Fun, enjoyable. And. You're like a brother who loves Wrestling. And Funny AF. later
You know when you hit the R shoulder button in the N64 AKI wrestling games and most guys will just comically puff up their chests and no-sell even heavy strikes? David Flair hit the R button on that dandy dropkick.
I love the class you showed with covering the Owen stuff. You didn't have to do that but just the fact that you did shows that you aren't just a great UA-camr but a great person as well.
Hello, my name is Benny Gordon and I actually work for a few wrestling companies in Colorado as a referee. A little after I started training, I started watching this series in mid 2022 and have been watching ever since. From that period all the way until October of 2023, I used to ref every Thursday, so I would be listening to new episodes of Reliving The War on the way to the company I work at which would get me even more excited to ref. This series even helped me answer a fellow wrestler's question about Goldust's shattered dream finisher. I just wanted to say my thank yous and give you the flowers you deserve for such an entertaining and well put together series.
Hey man, I just want to say that this show is the highlight of my week. Life is pretty crappy in general and it’s nice to have something fun to look forward to. I know I’m not alone I’m feeling this way. This is a great community and reading the comments every week is half the fun. Just wanted to say thanks.
The TV ratings battle likely wasn't addressed due to the circumstances of Raw Is Owen, but if anyone is curious, Raw jumped to a 7.2 this week and Nitro fell to a 3.1
I was at this Nitro. During the commercial break after Macho Man attacked Nash, Nash got on the mic and said "Hey Mach, $hits on", a little nod to what he did the next week.
I absolutely went to the Nitro Grill. My grandparents lived in Vegas when I was a kid, and I cajoled my dad into taking me. I got the Macho Man Nachos and took a picture with one of Flair's robes. The waiters were dressed as referees and did not look happy to be there.
I can just imagine the thought going through his head, ‘I paid to watch this?’ But more importantly I just noticed the guy to the right and down from red shirt guy, that drop kick was so singular that he immediately gets on the phone to call somebody!
I absolutely bought a Horsemen shirt today! I live about 45 mins from Greensboro, and I'll be attending Sting's retirement match in that sweet merch to take care of Horsemen business down at the Coliseum next month at Revolution.
I find it interesting that the new blood vs millionaires club (it’s technically not but hear me out) storyline or vibe I could say started all the way back in May 99. A reason I love this series is seeing things that happened way before it would eventually become huge or seeing the seeds of an idea lay that would eventually blossom.
i cant be the only one who's face lights up when the new reliving the war drops.... makes me feel like a teenager all over again. thank you for your amazing work on these.
I was able to eat at the Nitro Grill when I was younger. Its was fun. It was standard Hard Rock style food. They had past PPVs playing on TVs. Wish there were still places like it today.
I am honestly a huggeeeeee fan of randy savage is this phase I love that he keeps putting lipstick on nash... he's just the madness he's crazy hahaha I laugh out loud for real when i saw savage do the lipstick again
Just bought two shirts man! You are the best UA-camr. No drama, no hate, just love! Watch every video you ever make. Was hard to watch the last couple but I’ll support you since you are supporting a great cause. Love your community!
I have a soft spot for this version of Randy Savage. I was at a nitro in June of this year and it was my k of time seeing the madness. He was still impressive in the ring at this stage of his career.
Uhhhh, maybe David Flair was trying to pop Owen up in Heaven with that "performance" again El Dandy? Look, I want to give David some leeway because he was so green & had expectations that he could never live up to... but, man, did he suck in 1999, and he only got ever-so-slightly better in 2000 when he was teamed with Crowbar.
I know Rick Flair is a legend and all that but how does WCW KEEP putting David Flair in the ring?!?! He is EFFING HORRIBLE! Not to mention that he looks like a child so even if he was doing really well it would be hard to believe. And I think his face is always red because he is always nervous!
You know after watching that flop from David flair not taking that drop kick I'm relieved that years later The Undertaker beat the s*** out of him during his feud with the nature boy in WWE
This may be the worst Era for WCW television, but my God, this has been some of the most entertaining episodes of Reliving the War! I'm looking forward to the downfall even more!
Wrestling Bios, I'm begging you, please do a separate video that covers David Flair matches. I bet it'll be funnier than the Darkside Hogan video you made some time back. 😂😂😂
Every time I see Buff Bagwell, I think of his assault of a worker in Springfield, Illinois. I know he was arrested, not sure if he served time. Buff "Springfield Crimelord" Bagwell.
I hail from Mexico, so seeing WCW fumbling it up with the Mexican talent... Ay. It's painful, but at the same time, that sell from David has to be worst I've ever seen.
David Flair was as terrible as his little sister is good, and Charlotte is really good. Why did he even try to wrestle? He was clearly not athletic enough
I got to go twice to the Nitro Grill 1st time I met Roddy Piper cameras were filming him walking around he just so happened to walk by me 2nd Time I went Konnan and Ted Dibiase were there.
I did actually eat at the Nitro Grill. I remember the food being fine, nothing spectacular, but the restaurant was pretty much empty. This would have been 1999 or possibly 2000. Can’t remember much else except buying a Ric Flair pin for my uncle was a huge fan
They should have definitively ended the nWo at some point, long prior to this point. I don't know how they should have booked it necessarily but they should have killed it definitively when it was still hot or at least warm.
I love how David went from having the worst Nitro main event in history against Eric Bischoff to having a all time classic with the likes of El Dandy 🤣
I just wanted to say congrats to Mongo who was inducted into the NFL hall of fame.... he does nothave a lot of time left I'm glad he was alive for the news....
I ate lunch at the Nitro Grill in May 2000. Food was very much like a Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood. I had the glasses our cocktails were served in for 15 plus years. Drinks had wrestling related names like Power-slam rum punch and Big Sexy on the Beach or something.

Amazing work my guy 🤙
This has been one of my favorite YT channels for years, and seeing the respect put into the Owen videos just elevates to a higher level for me.
Seeing the response for the Owen videos kinda gives me a little hope for humanity. R.I.P. Owen James Hart
Best part is its like 5000 in cdn bucks!!
Congrats to reliving the war Legend Steve “ Mongo” McMicheal for making the NFL Hall of Fame
It's nice, but it was a sympathy vote. If he was a HoFer, he would've gotten in 20 years ago.
It’s crazy how the illness regressed him to what he looks like today
@@g-dub5272life can be a cruel joke sometimes...
I’m so happy that Mongo is getting this honor. Really wish it’d happened before the illness progressed to this point, but it’s a well deserved honor.
Congrats
"... and we have a DQ finish in Nitro's main event". Probably the most common phrase over the last few years of this show.
“Folks, we are out of time…see you next week!”
Oh, thanks for ruining it! Spoilers man.
😂😂😂😂
I LEGIT felt the breeze on that Dandy drop kick.
Not gonna lie. It happened a lot when I played WWF Smackdown 2 😆
The David Flair reactions are a contender for future Wrestling Bios GOAT segments.
That drop toehold and drop kick are just otherworldly.
Looking forward to the eventual "David Flair in 1999 & 2000" supercuts from Wrestling Bios.
😂
You know when you hit the R shoulder button in the N64 AKI wrestling games and most guys will just comically puff up their chests and no-sell even heavy strikes?
David Flair hit the R button on that dandy dropkick.
I wanna see a compilation of David Flair no selling in videos made by him, so that I can send it to Ross.
David " Nothing but air " Flair. I did have secondhand embarrassment seeing that drop kick.
He needs a logo now like Air Jordan 😂 but just a silhouette of him just standing there lol
need some david flair merch
@@WillFeral420 Legit lol'd at this
@@WrestlingBios I smell some sort of David Flair merch incoming 😂
Samoa Joe stealing from David Flair
I love the class you showed with covering the Owen stuff. You didn't have to do that but just the fact that you did shows that you aren't just a great UA-camr but a great person as well.
The David Flair segments are quickly becoming my favourite part of this show lmao
After how heavy the OTE and Raw is Owen episodes where, we all needed that Dropkick
Last week I managed to find the Owen Hart Hart Of Gold DVD at a local CEX shop for £8. I bought it straight away.
Lucky you these WWE DVDs will harder to find now that WWE have stopped producing them I expect their prices will go up on Amazon and eBay
@@brianshields7485 I have so many from the 2000's and I'm glad to have them.

You are not alone. ❤
David Flair's matches are becoming my favourite part of Reliving the War
I'm at a point to looking for David Flair matches every week and not caring for the rest of the shows. 😂😂😂
Did he die?
@@negrosuave9315 He's still alive. You're thinking of his brother Reid Flair, who died of an overdose in 2013.
The TV ratings battle likely wasn't addressed due to the circumstances of Raw Is Owen, but if anyone is curious, Raw jumped to a 7.2 this week and Nitro fell to a 3.1
Ouch
I was at this Nitro. During the commercial break after Macho Man attacked Nash, Nash got on the mic and said "Hey Mach, $hits on", a little nod to what he did the next week.
david flair
the only man that can break wrestling bios professional attitude

9:40 - David Flair channeling Neo from the Matrix with that dodge
IDK why, but the blank expression on the face of the red shirt guy in the background watching the El Dandy drop kick just has me rolling!
I can just imagine the thought going through his head, ‘I paid to watch this?’
But more importantly I just noticed the guy to the right and down from red shirt guy, that drop kick was so singular that he immediately gets on the phone to call somebody!
I've just spent the last 5 minutes laughing at David Flairs no sell on that drop kick from el dandy. No wonder it kept getting replayed 😂
Real classy of DDP & Bam Bam with their respects to Owen despite being Heels at the time.
I absolutely bought a Horsemen shirt today! I live about 45 mins from Greensboro, and I'll be attending Sting's retirement match in that sweet merch to take care of Horsemen business down at the Coliseum next month at Revolution.
I’m busting out laughing watching the dandy flair match 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 we need more of these funny David flair moments wrestling bios great work man
Absolutely dying at Mr Perfect's rap remix 😂😂😂
Mate I have been in tears at the drop kick section. “David Flair, you mad man” killed me 😂
Hearing wrestling bios break every time we see David flair wrestle will never stop being funny
That David Flair match and your commentary were gold 😂
I love how you made Mr Perfect's rap into perfection
We got a new meme on this channel :)
His face in this one remind me of Brutus Beefcake 😆
The Curt Hennig rap is hilarious 😂
Went to the Nitro Cafe in Vegas on a family vacation when I was about 10. I remember getting the "Goldberger"
The footage of "The Dropkick" needs to be incorporated into the RTW intro. Classic.
Wrestling Bios needs a Botchamania-style intro for Reliving the War, with all the memes from the series.
The greatest dropkicks known to man.
RIP Owen. You are not a nugget.
The unedited Flair matches are rapidly becoming my favorite parts of RTW
17:00-17:40 Oh my God it's happening! The best storyline from 1999 WCW!
Had a rough few hours today due to stressful life stuff. Really needed this. Thanks Bios
To be fair, Dandy didn't make physical contact so David might have thought it was better to not sell the dropkick.
Yep I agree, David was right not to bump for that, it would have looked terrible if he had. Only good thing he did in the match.
These david flair match commentaries have me in tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I wish I could support the channel and the OHF but I need support myself. 😔
Best I can do is like your vids and will keep watching for sure.
Eric Bischoff himself said he visited the Grill and it was absolutely disgusting
The Curt Hennig bit absolutely creased me. That's excellent. 😂
I love the way El Dandy looks at the ref after that dropkick.
i cant be the only one who's face lights up when the new reliving the war drops.... makes me feel like a teenager all over again. thank you for your amazing work on these.
This video took me 36 minutes to watch because I kept rewinding the David Flair match… Hilarious… I look forward to his match every week lmao
Curt Hennig rap "song" is an instant classic. Had me busting my gut with laughter.
Wow. Never thought I'd say this, but David Flair makes Erik Watts look like a main eventer. Embarrassing 😳

David Flair has become my new favorite wrestler of all time thanks to this series.
They probably could have found a better wrestler than David Flair in the audience.
Let's jam it up. I look forward to this every week
I can't see Sgt Parker without thinking of the Louis Theroux bit 😁
Does re living the war make anybody else want to bust out WCW VS NWO revenge or WwF no mercy.

Wow, David Flair was absolutely brutal. For all the focus on the dropkick spot, it's that drop toehold which absolutely slays me. 😂
David "Just Stands" Flair. Absolute brilliance in that nickname.
I've been watching you for years and I swear I've never laughed as hard at anything is that David Flair segment 😂😂
8:59 David flairs face getting his face slapped before a match. I laughed to hard at that one 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That killed me "That dropkick doesn't work for me brother" 😅😅😂
Wow I really appreciate that everyone paid respect to Owen Hart that night.

David Flair has a common condition called Rosacea... its a skin condition.... might not want to make fun of that in future episodes.
