In about 1974 I had tickets to see Quo at what was known as the Empire Pool, Wembley.' My girlfriend had to work but she suggested I take a friend of hers instead. Her friend was well into Soul Music and certainly not Quo....she came out a complete convert. A great gig and a fantastic crowd that night with the place full to capacity and taking the roof off!
@@davesheppard8797 Since 1984, I seen them once on every tour, but by 2000, I was getting bored by practicality the same set list. I seen them 10 times this century, my last was the O2 London in 2015, after Rick died. I saw the FF in 2013/14 and Aquostic 2014/15 Since then I watched John Coghlans Quo 7 times and 3 Quo Quoventions 2017, 2019 and this year. DJP..
@@Kursaal75 How was the 2015 gig without Rick? Weird I should imagine. I have only seen them about 25 times but always with Rick. It just wouldn't be the same for me without him!!
Maybe it's just this UA-cam video but this sounds bloody awful!! Especially malone's guitar!! Quo only selling half the venue???? Last time I saw them with Rick the whole place was rammed.
@@silentzero7 I have been a fan since pictures of Matchstick men and have seen them many times. Have seen gigs with Lancaster and Coghlan before they left and numerous times since. It just sounded really naff. Not interested any more though. They died for me with Rick, may he rest in peace!
SQ were playing more than 120 gigs in London, including the Hyde Park gigs, 1986 with Queen Wembley Stadium and so on. Since 1974 they are playing there in the biggest halls. How many people saw them in London until today?
I was there. My 1st time seeing Status Quo live. Fantastic concert.
Great rock n roll band I wish I got into them earlier. Better late than never

Thats the sound of the video, go to a concert and you will hear the real sound quality.

Thats youtube for you. As for the attendance, isn't there a cost of living crisis?
They wouldn`t let me in with The Manor Mobile so I had to use my phone. 😀
