Just use a scissor trim a little from sides , then by using any needle or any sharp pointed stuff make the ribbon fray...

Wo na jo aaise dekhiye kuch khicha gya ribbon se to wo jo h uski horizontal thread ussi ko
Dekhiye ribbon ko aap dekhoge to aaise cross section me threads lage honge
Vertical wale ko hmne double sided tape ki help se stick kiya hua tha aur jo horizontal wala h --- usko khichoge aap to waisa hi aayega ik bar try kro
