    I’ll try 1, but I think I may just spray the whole thing w/ light starch or glue. I need mine to stand up.

      Just apply fabric glue and on back side and let it dry it will be sturdy😊

    I’d really love to try to imitate a peacock feather. Not sure if possible. Wouldn’t it be super beautiful and no harm to those gorgeous animals.

    How many times did you wrap the yarn around the cardboard?

    • @madgo1858
      @madgo1858 5 місяців тому

      A lot- the more you wrap=more fluffy feather part

    Fantastic idea!! I made a really cute Rainbow wall hanging out of yarn a few weeks ago for my UA-cam channel and now I have a ton of yarn left I’d like to use it on something. I came across this looking for ideas and I’m inspired by you. Thank you for teaching me a new idea. I’d love it if we can learn more from each other! 🧶🧶

    This was disappointing, for one thing the wire needs to be very strong or the feather just hangs. I cut it way down because there are no directions. When you finish it does not look anything like the photo. I was very disappointed, and honestly, I do not recommend doing it. It does resemble more like a feather rather then the fabric to make the feather satin was used but I could not get the fabric to fray enough. That was worse then the yard feather.
