Witness: The RTD bus took "my schoolmates" from Horace Mann to Imperial Avenue...so, everybody in or out was block related. In or out, was bonded...that bus route was our whole unified neighborhood, for the most part.
With all the community decisions now, which should not be...most recognized everybody as "familiar" not rival. That was next level for those who, like "my classmates" went that way. - Most went from Jr. High to Washington High and changed their boyhood dramatically.

Pookie a little off with his dates it was crips at St.Andrews since 1970 the crips were hanging at St.Andrews and Sportsman in 1969 lets not forget Raymond was holding meetings on the westside from day one
The Crips, according to original Crip King Bobalouie, started in November 1969. Did they hangout on the west side in November and December of 1969?

Just out of curiosity Woodcrest, Bret Harte and Locke High are never mentioned in these interviews. Not to mention the 107s. That covers a pretty big area. Anyone know why these are left out of most conversations?
Early Locke High wasn't dominated by Crips. I had many homies that went there it's first year in 1969.
I would especially say Brett Harte. Brett Harte was very active back in the early days of bangin. That school was full of Hoovers, Walnuts, Colden Boys, San Pedro Boys, and others. And that was early as 1971-72. A lot is being left out of the equation, and individuals are only speaking on what they know, or their version of events. But, it's up to guys from those areas to speak up and set the record straight. If they don't speak up, it will be told from someone else's perspective.
Big Mizz touched on going to Bret Harte with Hoovers in the mid 70's. Hawk talked about the beginnings of 107 Hoover. Big Wac and Big Chip of 107 UG talked about the rivalry with the Hoovers.

Sound like too me Smaks had a meetings and Capones had meeting who was first? Well, seem Raymond like would go with more reputable faction Sweetback said they was first recruited n Pookie were baby crips logic. Is 71 AL Capone would be first because Tookie name was ringing even then. Now, Hawk was there still questioned mark there. So, K Mac revisiting the doubts.
Does it really matter who was first?We know it happened about the same time, so its really irrelevant who was a crip a week before the other ones. And it will be hard to find a conclusion if it happened at about the same time and some say they was first and the other ones say they was first and nobody really knows.

If they ain't have a formal meeting for everyone, which seems to happen with a lot of stuff like this in LA gang history... then how would someone be able to say they came right after the Smacks?
Because for people who were there, even if there was no meeting, they can still recall who were crips during a certain time frame and who wasnt.

If there's no formal thing to attach a memory too, ppl just kinda remember and associate with their personal experience... and how can you really dispute it with facts.
