Would you do a video of your perfume wishlist? Your videos got me hooked! My fav channel! Found your channel recently and it’s been so helpful, I can’t wait to start my collection! Seeing your passion for perfumes is so inspiring 😌
Thank you!! That means so much! 💕 I usually still include the perfumes on my wishlist in videos (Xerjoff La Capitale, Amouage Material, Carolina Herrera Amethyst Haze, Replica Jazz Club) but if at any point I have a list of ones I haven’t talked about I’d be happy to film that!! 💕
Yesss! Started off w a banger...Chloe Nomade Absolu was the first full size perfume I bought myself. I got a sample in a Sephora or Ulta order, can't remember it was years ago, but I had to have it immediately. Gives me fairies in the woods vibes and I'm all for it!!
Love your videos. Have a hidden niche perfume collection in my secret drawer. Just yesterday got BDK Pas ce soir and Xerjoff Erba Pura. Why have a hidden perfume collection one asks ?…. I am an Italian lover of fine things and married to a Dutch man, who only buys what he needs not what he wants!!!!! Truly love the way you describe perfumes👌🏻
oh absolutely, totally agree 😅I definitely wouldn't recommend buying it EXCLUSIVELY for the gym (I mean it's fabulous, it deserves more regular wear 😉) I was just saying it's very much appropriate for that setting!
Started off w a chypre... Nice. My fav freshies (not my type either..) are florabotanica, santal cardamom, gris charnel, virgin island water, au croissiere, narciso for her edt (although extremely soapy and powdery) ...hmm that might be it.
I don't own a great amount of designer fragrances but Quentin Bisch's 'Chloe Nomade' is fantastic as an everyday 'easy reach' fragrance. Just when I think it's got too much of something in it, I recognise another ingredient and this push and pull goes back and forth for the entire duration of the wear for me. In translation, it means that it's a well balanced and compelling, lively fragrance. Speaking about lively, Xerjoff's 'oddball almost-gourmand' offering 'Dolce Amalfi'. Wow! I felt hypnotised when I first tried this, I just couldn't figure out what on Earth I was smelling, so unfamiliar was this new olfactory personality. All I knew was that I felt like I was having fun on holiday. It smells of Juicy Fruit and baked quince, so a creamy sweet kind of fruity proposition. Both natural and synthetic and OMG-- the tenacity!! It's almost as long-wearing as BR 540 on me. I love it but I can see how it polarises opinion. For that 'oddball almost-gourmand' category which I've referred to in a few of my comments, this one is into the top 5 with a bullet. Adameku by Di Ser is another thirst-quenching kind of 'almost gourmand'; it smells of fresh orange juice with a slight minty freshness about it. That too makes me think of being on holiday, having had a luxurious in-room breakfast, showering and heading out for a day of exploring.
Haha, so funny how you mentioned the Dutch smell. I totally get that. Used to stay next to two Dutch sisters in my dorm and I still think about that sometimes. At first I thought that it's a European thing, but I don't get that from any of the others 😆 Same with Chinese!
I love coconut and I so wish Coconut Fizz worked on me! I hardly get any coconut but honestly my skin chemistry is weird. My fave coconut scents are Mancera Holidays, and Simone Andreoli Leisure in Paradise
Hiii Anne ...would you do a video of frags thats smells fruity in the opening and with floral woody in the midst and dries down a bit sensuele romantic BUT not powdery at all 💕 ?Im hooked on your chans 💞.Greetzzz from South America 🤗.
I have Chloe Nomade (the classic one) and I also think it smells very similar to Coco Mademoiselle, but different because I won't smell like everyone else! haha
Woweeeee!!! Ran to try PDM Cassili and Kayali Vanilla 28 after you recommended it- insanely delicious!!! IMO, exactly what Cassili needed to smell even more delicious! Thanks for the reco!
You tried it!! 😄Right?! 🤤I was thinking to myself, "I wish Cassili had a bit more vanilla in it" and uh ... yeah my mouth was watering the whole day after I tried that combo
Fantastic list and suggestions 👏👌 Your out of the box perfume picks are amazing! Now I want to smell Another 13 just so I know what your homeland scent is like. 😉🥰
Ok you sold me on the coconut fizz for this summer😂 I love a coconut scent! Fresh, synthetic, syrupy, ANY of it. One question: how’s the longevity? Does it stay closer to the skin or project?
It's soo beautiful, definitely a lifer for me 😍I'd say longevity is moderate. Marina is right, Aqua Allegorias are known for being very light, howeverrr I find that Coconut Fizz performs much better than others in the line. I still overspray with this one, but when I do, people will smell me and compliment me for the entire day! And honestly, I don't mind it being softer because the scent is so unique and special that it's worth it to me to spray a lil extra :)
This is an old video but I’m laughing because you’re the third person I’ve heard recently saying that Dutch people have a particular smell. Somebody else answered that most people in the Netherlands use a particular detergent!
An interesting "freshie" is Saint Julep by Imaginary Authors. It's mean to smell like a mint julep and is very aromatic and herbal, but not in a medicinal or super masculine way. It does have a sugar note and reads a bit sweet, so some people might not like it for that reason. Actually, I'm quite impressed with Imaginary Authors as a brand, and would be interested in seeing you review them!
You stole my ❤️🫶🏻 with your last choice! That’s my favourite one, sooo unexpected love and such a discovery of 2022! So happy that it is you who loves it the same way ;) #hugefan
I’ve tried a bunch and other than loving Santal 33 for men, nothing has quite hit home for me! I do still have a couple I’d like to try out though, I’d love a bottle in my collection 😍
Your expression of coconut fizz… 😂 🤣 I literally pictured a coconut falling from the tree and cut into half and draining that coconut water. Thanks for really explaining the scents
I didn't even hear the dutch accent! Made laugh so hard...never thought about the dutch smell. Do you sometimes sell samples or decanters? I've been searching for a sample from Greenwich village but it's hard to come by in the Netherlands!
I don’t have one! I was born and raised in California, but my entire family is Dutch, my parents moved here after they got married. No I don’t sell samples, sorry! I list a bunch of places I purchase samples from in the description box, I’m not sure if any ship to the Netherlands but you could check it out? 😊
Funny you said that Another 13 smelled like the Netherlands. My partner is Russian he and said it “smells like the Soviet Union” when we sampled it. 🙈😅 Not sure if that’s good or bad but I like it. And thanks to you I finally decided to try Dolce Amalfi and I now own it and couldn’t be happier. Best Casamorati I’ve tried, I just love it. 💛
Hi you seem to have a great taste, I would like to have your opinion on Mancera velvet vanilla and if you think that angel muse is a better option for a blind buy... Thank you ❤
It really depends on your taste and what you prefer! Velvet Vanilla is a sweet bubblegum vanilla tuberose and Angel Muse is, well, how I described in the video 😝 I do feel like Angel Muse is more hyped/loved/talked about though! I personally vote Angel Muse EDP :)
They're very different! Although, they could be worn for the same occasions. Both very likable and good as an entry level niche perfume. However, smelling them blindly, I would guess that Cassili was a luxury niche perfume, and Sunset Hour was a designer perfume. Since you know my thoughts on Cassili, I'll chat a bit about SH. SH definitely makes for a safe blind buy. This is mainly peach, raspberry, and a pear I actually like. Super juicy and lightly sugared. I get the cashmere quality to it, it’s soft and smooth, some vanilla. Smells like a fruity virgin cocktail. Cheerful, very girly and young. Smells like the color of the juice, it’s perfectly named too! I do see a slight similarity to Valentina Born in Roma but I like SH more. I won't be picking up a bottle because it wasn't wow enough for me, but it's very likeable and pretty! Hope that helps! 💕
Wist niet dat je nederlands ben. Je hebt echt totaal geen accent. Meestal pik ik de engels sprekende nederlanders er zo uit, maar had het nu niet gehoord. Leuke video weer.
I really love how expressive you are when you describe perfumes😊
Thank you!! ☺️

Chanel beige is also a great classy, office scent. But, could also work as a bridal scent! It’s just beautiful.

I wouldn't buy a Le labo fragrance for the gym as they're expensive af but hey if you have the budget why not lol
oh absolutely, totally agree 😅I definitely wouldn't recommend buying it EXCLUSIVELY for the gym (I mean it's fabulous, it deserves more regular wear 😉) I was just saying it's very much appropriate for that setting!
Greenwich village is my fave bond perfume!
same!! 😍💙

I stopped by for the perfume recommendations.... and stayed for your entertaining delivery!
Awe thank you! 😘
My favorite freshie rn is skylar pink canyon you should check it out, it has a really nice realistic grapefruit note
Haha, so funny how you mentioned the Dutch smell. I totally get that. Used to stay next to two Dutch sisters in my dorm and I still think about that sometimes. At first I thought that it's a European thing, but I don't get that from any of the others 😆

What do you think of the Tommy Bahama perfumes? I think the St. barts is a good fresh scent
I love coconut and I so wish Coconut Fizz worked on me! I hardly get any coconut but honestly my skin chemistry is weird. My fave coconut scents are Mancera Holidays, and Simone Andreoli Leisure in Paradise
Oo I’ve been dyinggg to get my hands on a sample of Leisure in Paradise!!

Your frag vids are my favorite!! Thanks for adding some unconventional choices to the mix. I feel like I really need to sample several of those!
Thank you so much Hollee!!
Another 13 was my signature scent for a few years … I would describe it as the scent of a sexy librarian 😄
ugh, what a beauuutiful signature scent 😍
Tysm for your name explanation I’m always like 🤔 lol. I love another 13!
I haven’t tried Chloe Nomade Absolu but you’ve peaked my interest 👀
oh my gosh I bet you'd LOVE it!! 😍
If feel like alien would be a nice bridal perfume. Its airy and lovely.
Chloe nomade absolu is my sig scent.
Love Prada La Femme! This video was fun 💛
Thanks for watching!! 🥰 (btw do you prefer Becky or Rebeca cause I’ve heard people call you both 😬)
@@AnneLauren honestly either is ok! But I will say my friends and family call me Becky 😉

Ok you sold me on the coconut fizz for this summer😂 I love a coconut scent! Fresh, synthetic, syrupy, ANY of it. One question: how’s the longevity? Does it stay closer to the skin or project?
The aqua allegoria line is famous for its lack of longevity... Nonetheless, it's on my list.
It's soo beautiful, definitely a lifer for me 😍I'd say longevity is moderate. I get so excited when I see you've uploaded !! Your taste is truly impeccable 🧡
thank you so much Nessy!! ❤️
Amazing list ….I really enjoy your video , can’t wait until I’m able to pick up the niche fragrances
Thank you so much! ❤️
Please do an update on this theme!
This is an old video but I’m laughing because you’re the third person I’ve heard recently saying that Dutch people have a particular smell. Somebody else answered that most people in the Netherlands use a particular detergent!
I need to experience that Dutch smell now. 🌳

Sis how do you feel about the other LeLabo frags? I’m obsessed with Tonka 25 and Rose 31.
I’ve tried a bunch and other than loving Santal 33 for men, nothing has quite hit home for me! I do still have a couple I’d like to try out though, I’d love a bottle in my collection 😍

Yess haha absolutely 😆❤️

I don’t but that’s a great one, for sure!!
