I loved it and found it sweet sophisticated very feminine and very creamy. So I ordered it the other day. Many people Love Black Opium, literally All my friends love the smell. It seems as though the hate comes from the UA-cam perfume reviewers mainly. I can’t understand it to be honest. Yeah it’s a simple perfume but do we really need complicated perfumes everyday? I’m on my third 90 ml bottle and although I own other type of scents, I reach for BO regularly. It’s a pleasant scent that it’s not going to offend anyone.
I’m just getting into more fragrances and I love Black Opium too. I used to wear it more but I prefer more complex scents now but whenever I smell this one it just reminds me of my younger self. And it still smells nice, I don’t get the hate either. Personal associations can make you less objective in a positive or negative way I think.

I love Black Opium. I agree it does has a time and place , even occasion. I think it is timeless. I dislike all Chanel Fragrance. It smells horrible on my skin. I have purchased 5 different ones and sold them all. Chanel makes my skin smell like rain water, wet grass and must.

You know what I mean? Nothing special with it. Another reason is, because it's so easy to like, a lot of women buy it and wear it. It is called "skanky" because a lot of women wear it to attract men at places like bars and clubs. I personally like it although not to the point of buying it. It's just too expensive for what it is: generic leaning.

The edt can actually be worn Spring and Summer evenings. Lastly . Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid was one of my Mother's Fragrance gifts. You recommend Ed that I smell this scent couple months ago. My bottle of Kayali Vanilla is dark too. Still smells wonderful. It’s just what happens with fragrances with a high vanilla content

I tend to gravitate toward niche fragrances (affordable ones too!), but I absolutely adore Burberry Her and Chanel Chance eau fraiche! Love this xo 😘

The edt can actually be worn Spring and Summer evenings. Lastly . Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid was one of my Mother's Fragrance gifts. You recommend Ed that I smell this scent couple months ago.
