    I was initially afraid to visit Tulum for being too expensive, but you can find nice spots at a mid-price and enjoy the place. Totally worth the hype! Me encantan sus videos! 👌

      I agree - the only thing that is crazy expensive and almost unavoidable is the cost of a taxi. They charged $80 USD to get from Secrets Resort to the beach. The resort did have a shuttle, but it only ran during certain hours.

    I really enjoyed this video! That cenote was absolutely gorgeous, Martin, your sister has great taste. Yours is the first Tulum video that I have seen showing the ruins, that is very cool! The food looked delicious, good job!

    Thank you for sharing. Back in the early 70s you could climb all over the pyramids of Tulum and Chichen Itza. We could also rent grass shacks with hammock and sand floors on the beach of Tulum. No more. Thank you for blessing our lives. May you both have many great life experiences and adventures.

    Agree that Taqueria Honorio is a great place for tacos. Sometimes the wait could be long. We enjoyed Taqueria La Chiapaneca too. The prices were great.
    We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. I will go back for the ease of access to cenotes and good food but will probably stay more in the local area instead of the hotel area.

    Hi guys, it would be great if you could make a video with details on what to avoid at the airport, renting a car, and things to avoid in general (more detail-oriented) ex. recs for car rental agencies? Is it safe to drive around etc. apologies if you have covered this already, I've been looking for specifics and have not found anything helpful from other bloggers. Love your videos though! This thought just came to mind =)

    • @TouristtoLocal
      @TouristtoLocal  Рік тому

      Thanks for the suggestion! To quickly answer the rental car portion for you, we’ve had the best luck with Budget! They never push the extra insurance when we rent with them in Mexico ❤️ it’s safe to drive around, but in this area especially, the drivers are a little aggressive. So if you’re used to driving in cities, you should be fine. Otherwise, the bus system here with ADO is fantastic!
