I am extremely sorry to say that I think that you don't know how to ride a Royal Enfield, specialy a ThunderBird. It is not a racer but a cruiser. It's sweet point is 80 kmph speed. At that speed you will not feel much vibration and you will get the best milage of 40+ kmpl. In the inclined road it will definitely pull with a pillion, that why lots of people take it to Ladakh. You need the confidence over it and the knowledge to handle it. I own a Thunderbird 2006 model, bs2, cast iron model. I regularly take it on long ride. It does not give much problem still now. I am happy with it.
The issues you specified is on the Rental Bikes. I own a Thunderbird BS4. No much of the issues exist. No oil leaks. No much vibrations. Avg is 40 on highway. Brakes are powerful.
Ekdum shi bt bole Bhaiya. Bike comfortable h, long ride krne me mza aata h but vibration bhut h or breaking poor h. Mai apne Nepal Trip me is bike ka mza liya hu. Thank you for sharing your review.

Shuddh chutiya review, I am using this bike since 1.5 years and ridden more than 30000 Kms including long ride and short ride, air surf ek cheez Maine ab tak change ki wo hai chain sprocket jo 18000kms pe hi kharab Hona Chahiye tha but because of good quality material, wo itne din tika aur main recently change kiya, my bike don't leak oil from any portion of engine, good breaking and you should have to learn first how to use RE. No electronic issue, I ridden same bike from pune-jhansi-pune and it wasn't break journey, and bike perform like charm. I own dominar, KTM, RE, cbz650, and Yamaha R1. And my brother own intercepter 650 and planning for Harley Davidson.
