Enjoyed this. Thanks very much, Emlyn! i have some Welsh as well as English blood and very much enjoy spooky tales of Cornwall especially given its original Celtic roots. Diolch from Down Under! Lots of Cornish miner folk came this way in the 19th century. 🙏🏰👻🏴⛏️🐨
Never heard of that pronunciation of the name "Pengersick" before!? It clearly has an "R" in the name but you have chosen to ignore it and give it a pronunciation I've never heard of in my 60 years of visiting Praa Sands??
Having lived a few miles from Pengersick for more than 60 years, I've heard a wide variety of pronunciations of local place names, mostly from visitors to the Duchy. Even within Cornwall, place name pronuciations differ from area to area.
I only discovered this channel yesterday, love it. It is such a shame that it no longer operates.
it's not inactive! have a look - recent uploads and Emlyn has been commenting. So don't fret!
Excellent! Beautiful presentation with nice details like the hedgerow tree beams. Thank you
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. 😊
