A Ram dually with a lift and rims is over 10000 lbs with the Cummins. The engine alone is over 1100 lbs by itself. It's a tank, and with a tune it'll do over 130 mph.

@@hoost3056that is 1000% incorrect. Smoke means he has a dirty tune. Most likely a shit box plug and play unit. And a simple tune will not take a 350hp engine up to 5-600hp. @@CitizenOfBabylon that’s not the problem. I owned a 2020 Diesel 2500, at speeds of over 70mph it will sway left and right when taking bends with stock suspension(commonly reported issue). Gapping the cops off the line means nothing if you have to slow down to 70 to avoid possibly flipping over or loosing control. That Trick Daddy video and the Worlds Wildest Police Chases show made everyone want an Isuzu Rodeo or Honda Passport. I had one that thing would run sideways down the road 💪🏿🪖❤️💪🏿
A lifted dually with after market steel bumpers and run flat tires would be pretty hard to stop. We used to joke about installing a windshield washer pump and reservoir under the rear bumper for when people get behind with their brights on. Just use a little cooking oil in it. I imagine it would work for bright blue flashing light vehicles too.
I own a 2020 F450 Dually with 24 inch wheels and a 6 inch lift. I got 5 levels of tune on it…50, 75, 100, 150, and 200 horsepower at the turn of a switch. 200 gives me 700 horsepower to the crank. I normally run 75 which is comparable to a towing tune. Anytime you see a diesel truck rolling coal it has been tuned.

lol I just seen a whole police chase here in New Orleans charger hit the interstate and was already getting distance before the cop even hit the interstate 13 cops was flying pass me
Most people aren't paying attention to the end of the video where the cop says the spike strip cable was broken when the suspect drove past. So he couldn't pull the Spike strip back and all the other officers got spiked you can't really put the blame on him
It can be pit maneuvered as long as the wheels are rolling, it's the lack of speed & on a 2 lane rd + the pursuit car isn't really putting in much effort, he's terrified of the sheer size of the truck, but it can be done.
@@mfrost363 yeah definitely wait to even the odds a lil but honestly we both know this guy could've ended the chase in 3 seconds by slamming it in reverse 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😅

You are correct. Physics plays a solid role in the P.I.T. maneuver. That also goes for Audi and some Merks with AWS AWD mag ride models. They will correct the slide and put the pitter off of them. In 22 milliseconds
That is correct. You just need a Tahoe or something taller. “You can’t pit maneuver a dually” All of the Uhauls that are pitted are duallies. It just takes skill and a taller vehicle like a Tahoe or a truck. I have seen them catch a trailer ball on the push bar and get the pit started then back off and hit again before they can recover and complete it.
@Bradley5221 You were too quick to comment, the trooper did try to pit him (he set up his front bumper on to the side of the rear bumper and tried to iniate) but the suspect car was so heavy that he was only half way onto the pit before the truck fully resisted the attempt.
Like you said it's rear wheels are sticking out beyond the body. Don't have to pit it but ram the tires either it will dislocate the diff or pop the tires off the rims. In either case it would disable the truck from speeding.
In my opinion they should have gave up the chase. Right or wrong name me one thing this man could have done to get them off his ass other than pull over and give up. He tried every single thing but give up. Right or wrong he might have still been here. Coming from experience I can’t say what I’d have done in his shoes. I’d bet money he wasn’t sober and it’s hard to rationalize your situation in that mind state. Aka when your geek tf up and on a chase it’s easier to keep going and push your luck instead of pull over and give up.
I had a 01 Chevy 3500 dually with dual cab. I had a 16x6 trailer i pulled behind it full of suding pump jacks n walk planks. Truck had the vortec 8100 with Allison transmission. We could easily be doing 120mph on the interstate. Truck was beast! 8 miles to the gallon. Lol
