That was fun Kev. I really enjoyed that train ride. We used to go to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton when they had a steam day, and had free rides on their restored trains. I'd stay on the train and go backwards and forwards. Took me back to my childhood. Cheers Nobby

Great running session Kev. I'm lucky enough to have a preserved railway opposite my house and Traction Engines kept at farmyard up the lane. I often get a waft of steam coal, especially in the summer months. Best wishes, Dean.
What a fantastic video. Managing the water and coal over a run that long must be tricky. I drive the club metre maid and can do two laps of our circuit before stopping to fire. I am not brave enough to fire on the move yet.
Thanks 👍km yes surprised myself as i had to juggle the camcorder with everything else going on, and an enduring track to negotiate. i can just manage to fire on the move now, and to get a 5" marine boiler around our track can be tricky until experienced to do it.
