I am going medal to the metal dude! You already have access to the first two videos (intro and ch1) and I am shooting chapter 2 right now, should be out tonight for you.
@@BrazenNL I saw people that take bits and pieces but I did not find someone reading line by line and reflecting on every single exercise like I am doing.
Let's goo! I'm learning Rust myself but from a different source. Ken Youens-clark. Hoping it'll be enough to start. I don't have a computer science background so it's always nice learning from your videos.
Hey Jose!! The rust book assumes some programming knowledge but it does not assume a cs background (I am electrical engineer myself) so I am sure you’ll be fine 👍👍🤗
@@dario.lencina I haven't checked yet. I plan to later today but what I've dealt with so far it's not too hard of a learning curve from the resource I'm using. I already have some experience with Python & Bash. I'm coming at this from bioinformatics so I'm learning on the job. :)
Hahaha, I started to read again last weekend .and you started to make a video series!! This is really nice! By the way this book is immortal. I always read it + write couple of simple lines of code and test something basics to comprehend more...
Our minds are synced!! This video is a reaction to one of your comments last week where you mentioned that it would be great to start reading articles, I figured I should start by the ultimate sacred document for Rustaceans: "the book" I hope that it meets your expectations mate!!
I love this idea and this path so far! Definitely will be tuning in and revisiting the book for my own knowledge too. I've been getting back into using my Beagleboard Black microcontroller and I want to see if I can implement Rust projects on it. Any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
Hey Miguel!! I suggest controlling a servo, motor or sensor using gpioutils, here's a video about if you would like to check it out: ua-cam.com/video/vUbfnFHSLec/v-deo.html!!!
THIS IS A GREAT IDEA! I was literally wishing a few days ago exactly this existed.

It does exist already. Don't want to step on the poster's work, but he's not the first.
@@BrazenNL so what dude? I do not understand?

This will be my go to recommendation for any one that start with Rust ❤❤❤

I love this!! Thanks for sharing and keep it up ❤
Thank you! Will do!

Hey Dario, Me gustaria ver contenido de Rust + Iot, sensores, edge, etc. Aplicado a cosas utiles, seria genial
Me gusta esa idea! Has visto este video: Embedded Rust: Streaming Accelerometer Data Over UDP
