The cross stitch fabric choice turned out great. I love my accuquilt cutting system. Prior to making a quilt I will figure out which pieces I can cut using my Accuquilt, because it makes cutting hundreds of pieces of fabric a sew much easier and faster. Have a wonderful day of rest.

So I just had to add this comment, I love to watch your show and the other day you talked about the London Town quilt along and I know that you haven't picked your fabric yet. But it would be nice if you could talk about some fabrics for the quilt a long , please please please please please please🎉 I've got the booklet I don't want use Tilda fabric fabric , I don't want to use solid fabrics , I'd like to mix bolds And quiets, and flowers etc. I hate to wait till September to think about fabric so maybe just a little more time on what's coming up as a project for those of us that like to plan ahead a little bit. Thank you for all you do to brighten up my day

I have a chart with the starting rough cut measurement for the Accuquilt dies I use the most to streamline things. I invested in the multiples dies for 2.5” squares and HSTs, 2” squares, and 4.5” squares because I found it frustrating to cut large numbers using the little dies from the Pro tip: I cut Accuquilt HSTs instead of making sew and flip small squares. It makes my sew and flips more accurate and saves one of the cut off triangles. It only works for the sew and flips in more “standard” sizes like in Autumn Splendors. I also use it to cut my smallish scraps up into a few select sizes for future scrap quilts. The crank version of the cutter works great if you don’t have major shoulder issues or arthritis etc. The only downsides to Acuquilt are storing all of the stuff, and the cost. It makes processing scraps fun tho!
I have the strip cutter for 2 1/2 in straps. Then I flip my straps sideways Or fold them and cut crossways for perfect 2 1/2" squares!

Yay! I love the border on the cross stitch. I too, love my Accuquilt GO Big. The cutting piece of quilting is not my fave. Happy day off. Monday is Patriot’s Day here in MA and the Boston Marathon. Which for me means Spring is finally here!
Yes, I picked either this for the border or the Kaffe print. So glad you picked one of them (secretly, this was my 1st choice). Be so glad when I get my sewing machine out of storage. Just finished 2 wreaths for Christmas quilt. I think I'll probably do one or 2 of each block and make something small, we'll see. Doing J and Y tomorrow.
Folding and positioning on-grain is important in die-cutting imho. Those non-trim HSTs look tempting!

Some people use a black Sharpie marker to draw a 1/4” outline on the foam around the shape on the AccuQuilt die. Then it it easier to see where to fold/place the fabric, so less guessing.

So much to love! The border on the cross stitch is artful, as another has said. I love the checkerboard in the Block Wednesday quilt. That mottled effect is great. And, while I have thought in the past that I did not need that Go machine, my eyes are now telling me something different. I may just jump in when I return from my cruise. I hope the sale is on for a while. 😊

Oh your Christmas quilt blocks are very nice. I used to scrapbook so I have a die cutting machine that has a crank handle. I love cutting fabrics with my rotary cutter but I should look into the die’s for hst’s. Thank you for sharing that information. Love all the helps and supplies you share with us. I have the big crank Accuquilt studio. It is big and obnoxious. I bought it back in 2015 and that was all they had. I would love to get the electric one like yours.
I just got the Accuquilt Go - the crank one so I could afford the drunkard's path die. Got the 2 1/2" strip die and then it came with the 2" finished half squares and half square triangle. Love it lovie it love it. I'm wanting to make the mini exploding heart wall hanging. I made mistakes on the sizes and have had to return a couple of dies . Waiting for the 8" cube to come back into stock to get that. Now, I'm thrilled to try making some of your blocks!

I have accuquilt that is crank style and now that I am getting more proficient with my quarter inch I think I will use the hst die because sometimes my measuring or cutting lavish much to be desired

Hi, Pat. I am following and quilting the Christmas All Year Round quilt with you. Love it. So on the border HST's that finish at 3"...does that mean they are 3 1/2" and sew in at 3" after quarter inch seams, or does it mean they are squared up to 3"? Help!!! I am confused and Wendy doesn't really provide much information.
