Honestly, upgrading from the iPhone 13 Pro to the iPhone 16 doesn't make sense unless you're obsessed with having the latest model for no reason. the iPhone 16 has the A18 chip compared to the A15 in the iPhone 13 Pro, but for everyday use, this difference is minor. Sure, the A18 is a beast in terms of raw power, but are you doing high-end gaming or 3D modeling on your phone? Likely not. The iPhone 13 Pro is already blazing fast and handles everything from multitasking to graphics-heavy apps smoothly. Do you need *marginally* faster speeds for basic tasks? Probably not. The 48 MP main camera and 5x optical zoom on the iPhone 16 Pro are an upgrade from the 13 Pro’s 12 MP and 3x zoom, but unless you're a serious photographer, this change is not game-changing. The 13 Pro’s camera is already fantastic for capturing everyday moments and stunning portraits. Are you really going to notice the difference between a 3x and a 5x zoom for Instagram photos? Unlikely The iPhone 16 does have a slight edge in battery life-27 hours of video playback compared to the 13 Pro's 22 hours. But the difference isn’t massive, and the 13 Pro already has solid battery performance that gets most users through a full day The iPhone 16 Pro is slightly larger and made of titanium, while the 13 Pro is stainless steel. If you're really into holding a slightly lighter phone, fine, but it's not going to revolutionize your experience. Both phones have a 120 Hz ProMotion display, and the 16’s small bump in brightness isn’t worth paying $1000+ to upgrade So basically unless you're a tech junkie or a professional photographer, there’s just no compelling reason to throw away your perfectly great iPhone 13 Pro. Keep your cash, and wait for something truly innovative!
My decision to upgrade is because my phone plan will allow me to trade in my 13 pro for a 16 pro. Since I am already planning on sticking with my carrier for 36 months, it’s more tempting. I admit, the only downside is contributing to eco waste.
@@Kenneth-bm5zrsame. have a 13 pro and can trade it in for a 16 pro w/ another two year contract that I was gonna get anyways. The 13 Pro is great but nah I’m good, it’s time for an upgrade. Not to mention the novelty of being able to play Death Stranding or Resident Evil 8 on my phone lol.

I got the 16 pro 1 TB from the 13 pro 512GB. I got an offer for a $1000 trade in from Verizon and I will pay $15 less per month with the 16 pro. Honestly, if it wasn't for the trade in offer I would not upgrade at all, so it'd nice to have the 16 pro but not essential, If you don't get a god deal, you could still stick with the 13 pro for another, even 2 years. Great phones, just depends where you are with the upgrade cycle. Definitely a want than a need

Both are very good. The 13p is very good phone, as the 16p is also. Just keep in mind that Apple has nowadays nothing new to offer, so they update the "casual" things, like colours, like shapes, etc. But still same as before. I'm considering upgrading from my 13 Pro to the 16 Pro, but I think it might be better to save my money and just get a battery replacement for the 13 Pro instead. What do you guys think?
Get the 16 pro because battery is imporved/camera, and it will be getting ai. But you could just replace the battery if you to save money and 17 base models might get 120hz.
I have a question for you please . So let’s say you have a 13 pro and then get 16 pro would that mean the pictures on instagram come out better with the 16 pro? Or would the differences be negligible?( I don’t use zoom )

Saying that the 13 pro should be changed in a year or so is an exaggeration. A friend’s father still uses an iPhone 4 without issues😅. I used an iPhone 6 up until ~2022, when I upgraded to a 6S only because the y wouldn’t work with my Apple Watch. After that I had the chance of getting a basically free iPhone 13 Pro with minor repairs needing to be done with AliExpress parts, so I did it and have that. When the 13 pro already had a 120 hz display. I can't understand why Apple can't make the iphone 16 on 120 hz? Kinda outdated to keep 60 hz in 2024!
