Pluto and Sling Freestream are my favorite along with Tubi. I notice recently Roku Channel is now available on Google Tv and Android Tv. I’m hoping it will come to Apple Tv soon
UA-cam is my go to streaming service. However, I will not sit through ANY commercials so I pay for an ad free premium subscription. Peacock has raised its price and soon as my ad free promotional subscription ends in November I will cancel Peacock. Just not much to watch on Peacock when compared to the other streaming ad free services. Even though I am not interested in ad supported channels I did enjoy your review of those channels. Would be nice to have a ranking of the ad supported services by the number of minutes of commercials in an hour. I have yet to see anyone make a comparison. Keep up the good work!
Agreed on Peacock. While they do have some good things, we would only subscribe to them at the discounted price they offer on like Black Friday. Noted on the video idea, we'll keep that in mind. 🙂
Tubi/Pluto Tv are a few of the services I use the most, cause they have a section where I can watch Japanese anime and a few game shows there. Definitely gonna need to use some of the others in the near future. The free channels are a saving grace if you want to save tons.
When you say "apps" are those for Windows? Also, my TV is a Samsung from 2012 with a LAN connection which I have yet to do anything with. So I don't know what it can do for streaming. Any advice you can give me?
Very informative thank you. I have had cox cable and Netflix for so many years. I have now switched to att fiber and said goodbye to cox cable. I’m still learning of all this free tv content, much appreciated 👌
In Canada we blocked by the CRTC that state there protectionism to promote Canadian content yet really behind this is the benefits from or gifts from the telecommunications companies, yet we have free trade for businesses and labour but not for average Canadians!
I can’t understand why local channels aren’t in these apps in the US. In my country free over the air channels are require by law to be include on cable systems and apps and they can’t charge those cable channels or apps . Access has to be guaranteed if it’s already free over the air .
