It was great finally meeting you today. We cornered you at the post office. I am glad we met you. I was becoming a White van stalker. Lol! We love your videos. My husband streams them on the TV. I also love your background music. So many youtubers have blaring hard music that finds you running for the remote to turn it down. Keep on videoing. We'll definitely keep watching. We are at Split Rail until Tuesday. Hope to see you again someday.

You got that right, beautiful areas. Great drive for scenery, coves are nice. Even with the algae it's still water, and pretty. That lil boat is nice really for carrying along with you. Nice for there. That drone footage is so nice a clear, not moved to fast, easy on the eyes. Thanks for taking us along. 🙂👍

I lived through the monsoon season. My street was a river and we saw a drowned starling floating down to the Colorado River. The water went down quickly. When I was going with my son up the 95 through Ft. Mohave to Bullhead City, i kept telling him we need to go to Oatman sometime. I kept saying Boundary Cone Road so when we were driving back I showed him and he said Wow, it's real. I thought it wasn't a real road and you were making it up! No, it's the best way to get to Oatman.

I can't camp in places like this...those generators are obnoxious. Used to be, people would shut them off soon after dark but these days I've noticed quite a few folks are leaving them on ALL NIGHT. I reckon it's to power these CPAP machines people are using.

Between all the cancer kids at Walgreens and Uber asking for tips. I will not feed someone who ask for tips. Your take? I do appreciate your vids thanks. Nice video, thank you for sharing. I’m guessing, based on the water level, this video was taken around late September, early October. Normally from mid march to Labor Day weekend the water line is right up to those trees where the Rv’s are camped. My friend and I are from Palmdale Ca. This is our favorite camping spot. We have a 35’ travel trailer, and a 25’ ski boat that we bring here 3 or 4 times every summer we stay about a week each time. It gets very crowded during the holiday weekends. We’re both retired, normally we come out after the busy weekends. But not this Labor Day, were coming this weekend. I don’t know why I just told you all of that. Boredom I guess. The boat and Rv are road ready, just waiting to get on the road again.

They are vortex generators. They keep the air attached to the corner of the van to reduce the turbulence behind the van. It helps the stability and increases fuel milage a little bit.

Telephone Cove is in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. I think all campgrounds in park are first come, first served. I've stayed at others on Lake Mead and never needed a reservation. If they require a fee, they have a drop box for site papers and deposits. Rangers visit the site so you can show them your national pass or day pass receipt from another park location on the lake.

I sure wouldn't tow my sweet little travel trailer down those bumpy rough roads. It beats them up bad...I could see the wet water line where the lake level has been lowered. Being hot as it is there you would want to go swimming there but not with the green algae bloom.
I'm wondering if Lake Havasu and Lake Mojave are so full because they are much smaller than the BIG Lake Mead or Powell?
