Khalil gave his all in there. Glad to see so many mma fans recognizing that, instead of just turning on someone after a loss. Big support on your future fights!
I agree with the pressure point. Khalil did his best work initiating combat. With that said why ever he slowed down I can’t imagine how difficult/dangerous it is to hold to that simple premise. Khalil lost but did not get beat. His performance was only out shined by Poatan’s experience/knowledge. And Poatan was only out shined by Khalil never giving up his chin. He lost but didn’t get beat. At some point he must’ve reasonably known he would lose but never stopped trying to win. Alex had to earn his victory but could not claim his heart. Powerful performance
Maximum respect to Khalil, I confess that I didn't know him, but due to the respect he showed for Brazil and for Peatan, he ended up gaining a fan, I hope that one day he takes the belt home, khalil you gained a fan in Brazil
Good on him for doing these interviews so soon after the fight. Honestly if it was a couple weeks after the fight I would’ve been over it by then and not even watched
He seemed nervous and anxious just like before the fight, he was breathing heavy right after the first round, maybe not a physical problem, but emotional
Well between the round alex told glover he was going to make khalil tire, I understand portuguese. Even if khalil had more gas he would still lose, because alex had a read on him, everytime alex throw the jab khalil just blitz 1 and 2, all alex did was bait with jab slip 2 and counter, alex was in control of the fight, all khalil did was rely on the blitz, he wasn't a big problem tbh, was still good performance tho
It was interesting to see Khalil start I think the 4th round with his Muay Thai style and then both going back and forth with kicks. Seeing Alex nod like he’s saying “come on” was interesting.
@@staysolid19 yeah for sure, but you don't need to be a khabib or Islam to beat alex with wrestling. I think ankalaev will use his wrestling threat to out strike alex. I want alex to win tho.

Usman is a company man. Henry speaks the truth even when it hurts. Nice combo
Nah double non company man would be better.
cuz he got paid good and ufc cares about him.
henry couldn’t sell out his local bar & it feels like he’s still retired since he’s washed
Well said
Henry speaks nonsense. Henry is so gay for wrestlers it’s not even funny. Henry Tieing his whole life to ankalaev it’s embarrassing,he’s unbearable.
Delusional, henry is the biggest clown, always hating on exciting fighters cause his style sucks
4 man LHW tournament.... Khalil vs Jamahal Hill and then Polish Power Jan vs winner of Rakic/Ankalaev..... that gives Poatan at least 8-10months to rest and recover while the division gets sorted. I see Khalil beating those other guys and getting another shot in that scenario
Rakic vs Ankalaev is clearly a straight title eliminator
Jamahal and Blachowicz need to fight others and see who will be next in the future but the current one is Rakic vs Ankalaev
Nice
@@BuntarouMori if Rakic wins it's 100% title shot next...... but if Ankalaev wins it'll be Dana saying "hey yall check out this cool LHW tournament idea we have" 🤣🤣🤣 Ank is clearly deserving but thr UFC is making him take the Belal Muhammed route (aka the scenic route) to the titlel. Lol, maybe one day ole Ank will get his chance
Henry Cejudo, the last fight he won was 4 1/2 years ago and that last fight he was carried around like a baby. He still lives by that, and he always has to mention it to others, he seems like a teenager who is unsure of himself.
Drop the Belal Podcast
Poatans fight iq is his top asset.
@Int39227 stop talking shit khalil's only chance was a lucky shot using his explosiveness and speed in the first round absolutely nothing he did would surprise alex there are levels in this game alex is a double kickboxing champion the first in the history of glory and a member of hall of fame alex is a strategist he knew that khalil would come with everything he used his intelligence breaking khalil with kicks to the calves then kicking the stomach using jab khalil was destroyed these guys are overestimating a defeat and are thrilled that khalil won 2 rounds that It just shows the hatred and envy he has for Alex's success in such a short time in the organization, he just came to show his greatness, this must be bad for you haters, every fight he fights, hope he loses and the guy only gets better.
@Int39227 jon jones took anthony smith to a decision, lost to reyes, dropped a scorecard vs a 1 legged santos, couldn't finish OSP and now he's ducking aspinall lol
@Int39227 I didn't say that Khalil was lucky, I just said that Khalil's only chance was a lucky punch using his explosion and speed Alex is a level above when it comes to striker he still hasn't shown all his weapons every fight he comes with blows new
@Int39227ur so wrong 😂
@Int39227 sounds like somebody's a lil mad
Khalil is amazing man, bro could've played it safe and became a champ but he became a people's 🏆❤
Nailed it Alex is the official champ but Khalil is the peoples champ
Henry makes himself look like such a high I.Q fighter but can’t even realize Alex’s strategy was to break Khalil down in the later rounds.
he just roots for alex to lose every fight and never give him due credit deep down he's jealous because he knows that alex will pass him on the list of greatest of all time he's just a hater
If Perreira could have won in the first round he would have. Khalil is a beast.. he had to be taken down by a thousand cuts
@@Habib_Osman Khalil is very explosive at first, Pereira first took away his movement with blows to the body and legs to build the knockout.
@@Tomas-wm3pkAlex already passed Cejudo in the all time list it’s not even close
you introduce your friends to fighters like Khalil when you wanna show them how cool mma is
Definitely becoming a star! One of my new favorite fighters.
Respect to Khalil for showing up with the bandages still on 😆👍 Good job dude
Respect to Khalil. He went out on his shield. I think he won more than he lost.
Publish the Belal interview sirs 😂😂
Who?
Kamaru will never forget his name 😂😂@@Dark-Light_Ascendin
@@ReNeDesCartes782 the nightmare eats names, nigga!!! That as about to get ATE!!!
I’d love to see him at middleweight cause it does feel like he’s a lot smaller for light heavyweight especially standing in front of poatan!!
Naw UFC already has a established ex Fat black guy gatekeeper of MW in Cannonier
Ngl i have the same thought too. Khalil would do great in middleweight
Alex is overly tall it’s not that Khalil is short. Alex is tall for the division, same way jones was and both used their height and length as weapons
@@MattPowers209Khalil wouldn’t b a gatekeeper at 185 if that’s what you’re implying
@@MattPowers209😂😂😂
Even tho I wanted both guys to win, I was a nonbeliever and a hardcore doubter. But after that performance I can see him fighting for the belt again and even becoming champ if he can manage TDD. I don’t see him beating Alex but he can definitely be a problem for anybody including Alex and I respect how he’s handling the loss
Everyone is beatable
@@PaulPyferAlex apenas veio pra fazer história no futuro vocês vão entender
@@PaulPyfer I know but if you look at peoples resumes you can kinda get an idea on how a match would go
@PaulPyfer everybody is beatable, khalil just doesn't have the tools to alex, he also doesnt have much to make adjustments, any adjustment khalil make alex will do one above, alex is much longer, better fight iq, and superior technically
@@jetts18111 Khalil has the tools to beat Alex he just needs to add ground game to his arsenal. You don't know anything.
Huge Respect for Khalil for being the Fighter and Person he is !!!! 👏
He went four rounds.. with an assassin. He has my vote and respect
How can anyone hate this man? Carries himself with such realness, respect and humbleness. And most importantly no excuses for his loss. What a warrior💪
Huh? I haven’t seen anyone hating him
Drop the interview Usman
Bros gatekeeping the belal interview hard rn killing ur stock every day this vid doesn’t come out
Drop the Belal pod guys!
henry chilll bruv let my boi speak 😂 also drop the belal interview unc !
Henry cejudo is so off the rocks man.
Alex game plan was to drain, which means the pressure would come in later stages,
henry is dumb
he just doesn't want to give alex his due he's not stupid
@@Tomas-wm3pk which is what i call bullshit.
He is talking as if Khaleel rocked Poatan in 1&2, he was good no doubt, but he got that chance because it was Alex game plan.
Love Khalil! Will tune in for all his fights from here on out
This Fight has made me a big fan of Khalil...Wow, what a warrior!!!!!
You guys know every new video uploaded, we're going to ask the same question: where's the Belal interview!!! 😂
Massive props to khalil went in with a strong gameplan and really brought it the first 2.5 rds
Alex won the fight, Rountree won the night and life too!!
Nah Alex beat his ass with the flu and injured. Stop glazing
Khalil gave his all in there. Glad to see so many mma fans recognizing that, instead of just turning on someone after a loss. Big support on your future fights!
Release the Belal video! I wanna see the nightmare batter Belal!
He put it all in the ring and did not quit. Mad respect for that level of heart.
Where is Belal interview
Who?
@@Dark-Light_Ascendinthe man who 50-45’d the guy who knocked out Usman
@@NickisZexuhJr
did someone just queif?
I agree with the pressure point. Khalil did his best work initiating combat. With that said why ever he slowed down I can’t imagine how difficult/dangerous it is to hold to that simple premise. Khalil lost but did not get beat. His performance was only out shined by Poatan’s experience/knowledge. And Poatan was only out shined by Khalil never giving up his chin. He lost but didn’t get beat. At some point he must’ve reasonably known he would lose but never stopped trying to win. Alex had to earn his victory but could not claim his heart. Powerful performance
Why is Cejudo so in love with Ankalaev?
He hates pereira. He is really jealous. Usman has been able to put his biases aside and warmed up to pereira. But Henry is still sore about it.
Maximum respect to Khalil, I confess that I didn't know him, but due to the respect he showed for Brazil and for Peatan, he ended up gaining a fan, I hope that one day he takes the belt home, khalil you gained a fan in Brazil
Never took you for a coward Usman, drop the Belal Interview
Good on him for doing these interviews so soon after the fight. Honestly if it was a couple weeks after the fight I would’ve been over it by then and not even watched
There is Belal Interviev? Huh? Usman? Scared? Just Drope this, people want to see it. Yeas, real dude, yep. Dont be afraid. Just REMEMBER THE NAME!
Cejudo is for sure a staple to the podcast with Kamaru, keep this dynamic together!!
If I had a dime for everytime CCC says Ankalaev
didn’t laugh
Nothing but respect for this man he is a warrior ,can't wait for his next fight and i hope he stays on this level .
Khalil definitely ran out of gas.
He doesn't have reputation for having great cardio, and it was his first main event
And ran out against a opponent in Alex who was on double rounds of antibiotics for staph
No man, Alex kept his grip and drowned him round after round, destroying his leg using body blows and using a jab
Khalil is a great dude and a heck of a warrior. Wishing dude all the success and can’t wait to see him back in the octagon.
Khalil wasted no time to jump on an interview 🤷😎
It was interesting to see Khalil start I think the 4th round with his Muay Thai style and then both going back and forth with kicks. Seeing Alex nod like he’s saying “come on” was interesting.
Khalil blessing and bravery come and do interview bang up. Real man....Bro rooting u in bro!!
Y'all don't realize Magomed Ankalaev IS NOT A GRAPPLER, HE IS A KICKBOXER ACCORDING TO HIMSELF
But he trains in dagestan and can wrestle.
@@dammaguy1286 to an extent he is not a khabib or islam
@@staysolid19 yeah for sure, but you don't need to be a khabib or Islam to beat alex with wrestling. The thing is ankalaev is gonna give a tough fight to alex even if they kickboxed but alex will probably knock him out, now if you insert the wrestling threat then it gets different. I think ankalaev will use his wrestling threat to out strike alex. I want alex to win tho.
@dammaguy1286 yea well we really don't know alex hasn't used his grappling . We haven't seen if he improved he doesn't have to be a Grey's grappler if he can stuff the take downs he will be alright
Apparently u didn’t see his fight vs jan
This is an exclusive … great job guys
I’ll forever be a Rountree fan. Humble but confident. Nice but truthful. And a great fighter. Represents overcoming his hard ships. We can all relate.
Hell yeah thats what real hard work takes you. The talent of Alex is still quite too much too soon but hell yeah, he surely narrowed that gap - huge credit for Khalil there for throwing a really competitive fight against arguably the best striker in the world right now. Truly a story for us average joes can relate to, we are inspired with regular people going through extraordinary measures to achieve great things.
